I saw that LCF was down and a lot of people were upset, which kinda hurt because my forum is awesome, but it's obvious there are some topics best discussed anonymously.
I am burned on anonymous imageboards. It's not happening again. However, I'm amused by the idea of a pseudo-anonymous imageboard.
So this is the pitch: a women's only app that uses one of those third party ID verification companies to only permit women.

Software
- The software would be the software project I am working on for the Kiwi Farms.
- The core concepts of threads and posts and boards is really not that different. It would just be organized different and displayed different.
- It would be a much earlier MVP than a full forum.
Verification
- Must submit government ID to a 3rd party service.
- License must say F. M may submit gender change documentation for pooners.
- There will be troons with F licenses that get in, but once they're banned, they're banned by their ID, so it's not so simple to get around.
- The only information stored on the application from the 3rd Party Verification would be what's called a nonce (a secure token with no information in itself) and the gender marker.
- Posts would be earmarked to moderation with this token, similar to an IP address.
- Posts would go 'stale' and truly anonymous after a while (1 week? a month?), so there's time to action moderation decision and observe intrusive behavior, but no permanent record like a forum history.
- There are potential legal issues, see Bostock v. Clayton County, but I would argue this is a forum for people born with certain chromosomal conditions, not sex, considering the pooners.
- ID verification is a high bar of entry so the product might flop completely.
- It would be administrated by a man, in an ultimate irony, but other staff would be women.
- It would probably not be "comfy" in the sense of being a 1:1 copy of an imageboard.
- 3rd party verification usually costs per verification so there may be finance issues.

go to any amazon product review, any subreddit about knitting, go to forums about fucking cervical cancer or fucking PCOS support community or endometriosis community, and BEHOLD the REASON.
