In the last month my local places eggs jumped almost $2 a dozen, I knew the Russians were good at propaganda, but that's impressive.

Costs $3.50 for a fucking Dr. Pepper where I live. I'm not switching to Mr. Pibb, goddammit. Maybe I'll do what I should have been doing from the start and exclusively drink Moxie.

It's $8-10 for a 12 pack depending on where you go, unless there's a sale. Only time I buy pop any more. Also jumbo size eggs have been right out, had to down grade to extra large. Amusingly, because of Celiac, while expensive a lot of the actually good gluten-free and "healthy" shit I buy hasn't gone up in price much.

I supported one of their croudfunding campaigns for a history of their band book or something which got me on a shitload of Antifa mailing lists. It's been a trip seeing the band who wrote those lyrics simp for (the right kind of) international foreverwar. Power centered morality.

I’m not a conservative. I’m an old school pro-working class leftist…

From the moment I understood the weakness of identity politics, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of working class politics. I aspired to the purity of materialist conceptions of history. Their kind claimed their identities, as if they will not microagress and be canceled. One day the crude narcissism they call politics will wither, and they will beg my kind to save them.

But I am already saved.

For the revolution is inevitable.

Even in death I serve the working class.

I am so fucking tired of other people fucking up and having to pay the price for their stupid stupid decisions. Every time the government fucks up, it becomes a matter of "personal responsibility".
Literally every single comment I see about food prices results in the same midwit comment of "idiots spending all their money on the Grubhub" as if the price of food on the shelves isn't spiking.
When they do start accept that the food you're cooking is more expensive, they want to blame "companies being greedy" as if a) companies were never greedy before now and b) no single company would try and undercut everyone else.
