I think recent confirmation bias makes people think that Chris was always inept and retarded. He’s shown some ingenuity in the past when he puts his mind towards things. His little big planet levels or some of his older stuff like the stop motion gameboy camera video he made.
He just got lazier with age. Exceptionally so. He also developed an ego and obsession with his online infamy. After nearly a decade and a half of no genuine human interaction and weird asspats from internet white knights, it’s no wonder that he eventually degraded during the mid 2010s.
The real degradation was during the tomgirl era, but the true end of genuine Chris content ends with the GameStop arrest, and his first exposure to the internet mainstream. He went from obscure 4chan/SA legend to Reddit tier accessibility overnight.

Eh with Chris is more like "if you wait by the river long enough, the bodies of your enemies will float by". He was lucky he spent most of that time in jail so he didn't get exposed to most of it.
The G5 show was never going to be the massive lighting in a bottle success G4 was and Hasbro executives are notoriously retarded, that doesn't mean Chris will get what he really want (G4 continuing with the storylines he "dreamed" and not getting a reboot, new art styles nor new voice actors). I hope those marketing leaks of G4 and G5 characters together are real, the meltdown from having to acknowledge the new ponies and watching them interact with "his" ones will be fun.

That's what "Chris Chan" used to do before he started using that "Attraction Sign" idiocy. Women would say "I have a boyfriend" -- like that woman in that second video that "incel" posted -- to gently reject him, but "Honor Roll" didn't get the hint and bluntly specified "boyfriend-free" when he derped around "Attraction Locations" after that.
