It's the "any two guys" stereotype. These types of fans are actually disliked in a lot of fandoms because they have a specific type of thing they recreate with characters from different fandoms. And the slightly more sane fans will complain about how they don't really like the show/ship for what is really is but because it can be a vehicle for their preferred type of thing. I think CoD gets it a lot because it's a well-known franchise and there isn't really a lot of lore that's technically important. The campaigns are typical action movie stuff and most of the people play it for multiplayer and don't care for story at all. Anything popular with a low barrier to entry is gonna get this treatment.

Fandom drama is its own special brand of crazy that is so fun to sideline.

Not sure if this is common at all or outright weird but I'm having FFS consultations this month and I want to ask my cousin if I could use her face as a reference for the surgeon.

This comes mostly from the fact that we were always told we look quite similar and that I want facial features that are still congruent with my genetics to some extent.

How weird would it be to ask my cousin if I would ask her this? I'm scared that the conversation would sound too much to her like "hey can I literally steal your whole face?"

Found an ABDL tranny "influencer" who claims to be in the midst of being cancelled for being pro-Israel (a). On the one hand, I believe that that would happen to any ABDL tranny influencer who is pro-Israel, on the other hand an ABDL tranny influencer telling the truth would be almost as big of a twist as an ABDL tranny influencer supporting Israel.

This post is absolutely half-baked, but he's currently in the middle of DFE and I wanted to let anyone interested in archiving him know about him before he completely erases himself. He seems pretty boring to me and I'm sure he'll be back soon, but I just thought he was worth sharing.

Newsflash: the facial features "congruent with your genetics" are male features, because you're a man.

I've already imagined this scenario as a 1990s "psycho white bitch" thriller--specifically Single White Female. First he's going to get his hair done in his cousin's style, then FFS done to ape her physiognomy, and of course the finale will be the cousin's kidnapping so he can literally wear her skin and "become" her.

Literally every "Office woman from a manga" I've seen. And they're not in japan. It's straight up fetishization of the female experience and I feel like a fucking nutjob with how apparent it is. I remember when people decided that everyone started giving kids participation awards so feelings didn't get hurt. I mean what I assume to be the start, 25 something years ago.

I remember some parents bitching that kids need to learn they're not inherently special and unique just for existing, and that respect + achievements had to be earned. Not just given after shedding a few tears and quilting everyone around you when you don't come out on top.

Is that the shift in mindset that helped foster the troon endemic? All these impressionable people being told how feelings Trump reality, and that they're individual snowflakes just for opening their eyes in the morning?
