Stuttering Craig created Screwattack.com with his then best friend Handsome Tom. Their gimmick was “something original every freaking day” but this really just meant new content Monday - Friday. Which was admittedly a new concept as this was the early YouTube era where people still had their own sites.
They had contracts with Gametrailers.com to publish their weekly “video game vault” series which was like a mini-review of old games(starting with Link Faces of Evil which predated YouTube poop by about a year), they funded AVGN’s videos from 2008-2016, they held their “Iron Man of gaming” contest every year, usually at Magfest but sometimes at their own convention, which had notable events such as the first time Sonic 4, Killer instinct 2013, Rayman Origins and others were playable to the public, and gave a lot of current big names their start.
A common joke back in the days was “That Guy With The Glasses/Channek Awesome is just Screwattack rejects” as many of the staff were originally from Screwattack or failed to gain traction there, including Handsome Tom who created BlisteredThumbs & Game Heroes for TGWTG after Craig literally stole his share in Screwattack.
Moviebob; Mattpat, Pro Jared, Completionist, Game Hunters, BrentalFloss, Razorfist, Extra Credits, Death Battle, and a lot of others got their start with Screwattack. Craig had this brilliant scheme of letting people post their own content to the site and featuring the stuff that got popular, with the option of contracting them to be officially on staff, which lead a lot of people trying to make video game content to gravitate towards Screwattack. A lot of his doichebaggery was on display in the skits, podcasts, and other videos that featured Craig. For a time they were one of the largest video game entertainment sites. They even started doing a daily live streaming show before twitch was even a thing.(including a moment where during a 24 hour stream in 2010, Jared was about to beat mega man X when Craig turned off the snes before the final hit).

They sold out to some random company, then RoosterTeeth bought them a second time. Only when RT bought them, they shut down everything except for Deathbattle(made since because by this point RT was basically just more successful screwattack). There was no way DSP did not remember what Screwattack was, or who Craig was. So I do believe he saw this as a big get for him, probably not realizing that he’s now a nobody

OMG I know I am late to the party but I guess the general consensus is that the current arc will be genius?

After watching the latest Stuttering Craig interview the future of this arc is painted crisp and clear. DSP is flying SO HIGH now, after the Kino Casino stream and his "newfound popularity" and because he is a petty little narcissistic imbecile he will crash down so hard that he will end up even worse than he was before. During the whole interview he implied "very subtly" that he now is hot shit and it would be their loss, if he decided against working with them in the future, waiting to get an apology from the person who had wronged him so badly, just to burn all the bridges and proof to anyone what a petty little bitch he is.

Finally it is his time! Finally it pays off he endured all the years of hatred and humiliation! It is payback time for DSP! No more playing the changed man who left his old "persona" behind and became humble, he can finally be himself again!

I love it and I cant wait to see how this arc plays out!

Well, you see his life has been tough. He's had to pay the internet bill, the electric bill, and the WWE Champions bill. But he sold his account you see, to start a new on so he's not the person who spent all that money on the account you see and he couldn't give Craig the new account because that would be a lie he needed to tell a much more convoluted truth that is less believable than the previous lie that it wasn't his account. The internet loves him now, because instead of averaging 70 a stream he's averaging 150 a stream and that is a significant amount of income for a streamer so if you've slighted him at all in the past 20 years you're on notice, Pa Pa PPP and Daddy Warski will fuck you up if you try to ruin his comeback/redemption arc that consists of him revealing that he is indeed a very very bad compulsive liar that thinks so little of people that they would believe his idiotic lies and no actual act of redemption. He did nothing wrong, you see, he did everything correct and everything from losing his BlipTv deal to him stubbing his toe to his wife putting on 200lbs is the detractors fault because they make videos on the internet about him that are clips of his channel and have harmed his business by letting people know the things he's said.
