I was very surprised when I found out how tiny a minority Christians are in Japan. The Japanese seem to adore Christmas and I've seen plenty of Christian things in Japanese movies, both live-action and anime, as well as in videogames. In fact The Legend Of Zelda was originally a franchise about a devout Christian warrior but they changed the religion in Ocarina Of Time. Some think due to pressure from Nintendo Of America who weren't happy about having Christianity depicted in games for some reason. (They would remove Christian words and symbols from American versions of Nintendo games apparently. I mean from any games for a Nintendo console, not just games made by Nintendo.) Although apparently they've eased up on that censorship now.

This would have changed everything.

It might've lasted longer than the Tea party, or OWS, but this will be remembered as the right-wing's OWS. To be fair in its beginnings it even had the signs of it with people unironically supporting the likes of Milo Yiannopoulous. The only thing anchoring it thus far has been the man himself.
I think this was true up to a couple months ago, but there's been a change. People are talking about how this is an historic realignment of the parties, where they flip positions once every 50-100 years. Look at all the Republicans and Democrats switching sides--RFK Jr, Tulsi, Cheney, etc.

Trump is focusing hard on deregulation, breaking up the institutional agencies and the 3 letter agencies, ending the capture of agencies by corporate lobbyists, breaking the Military Industrial Complex, getting us out of wars, defanging the surveillance state, making Americans healthier by crushing Big Pharma and Corporate Food's push for chronic disease, securing the border, and ending the culture wars.

The other party--I can't even call them "the left" or "Democrats" anymore, is the party of Neocons, Big Government, Big Corporations, Big Pharma, control of the proles by the elites, forever wars to enrich the MIC, continuous woke cultural struggle, and open borders will millions of new citizens streaming in every year.

This goes beyond red hats or one guy...and that is different from 2016-2023 when it was all about just Trump and the "MegaMAGA" legions were a bogeyman in Joe Biden's speechwriter's minds. This is like the Whigs dying, the the Democrats and Republicans switching support of blacks, or Christianity going from persecuted under Diocletian to State religion in 50 years in Late Antiquity. This is a seismic shift of party alignments that goes beyond just one man.

Right but look around the world- the problem of low T is clearly not just limited to NPR employees. Any time you go to the store or the DMV or anywhere, you see guys like this, the meek concave little skinnyfats with the gay voice (and a girlfriend, somehow.)

Finasteride was first released in 1984 as a drug for prostate conditions, and approved in 1997 for male pattern baldness (but used off-label for it for years before). As time has gone by, more and more men use this. Dutasteride is now also used for the same purpose. Originally they were used mostly by men who were past their reproductive years, but that has changed fast and the average age taking the meds is lowering every year. In that time, masculinity has tanked.

Finasteride and dutasteride both antiandrogens. Combined, over 2% of adult American men are currently on one. For white American men over 35, the percentage is closer to 5-6%.

These medications have had their side effects hidden for years, other than causing erectile dysfunction, but it's now increasingly known that they can cause genital anomalies in boy babies who are exposed to these drugs due to intercourse during pregnancy involving a man taking the medication. There are some redditors with heartbreaking stories about this who caution others against taking these meds if you are having any intercourse that might result in pregnancy. It also increases suicidality and a host of other issues that are common to men suffering from low testosterone in any circumstance.

There is no way the kids with hypospadias and malformed penises are the end of it, they're just the ones who are most messed up. I have zero doubt that a ton of boys were permanently impacted by these medications. I think the soyboy physiognomy (which is more common for white kids who are children of older parents) starts happening right in line with when these medications started becoming popular. I genuinely don't think it's just about how kids are raised, something else is happening, too. I also believe, since pregnant women can be impacted even from handling broken tablets, that boys coming into regular contact with men who use these meds could be absorbing them, or making occasional contact with broken pills.

Now there are online prescribing outlets that put these antiandrogens into a multi-ingredient pill, like Hims. I would guess that 10-15% of American men will be using these drugs by 2030 if the side effect profile doesn't gain more attention.

I've always wondered whether this was why the big gay acceptance push has happened and become unquestionable uniparty dogma. When the full side effects and impacts on children from these drugs become known, the lawsuits would be huge: "you made my kid gay, I'll never be a grandmother, I'll never get to dance with my son at his wedding..." but if he can "marry" and "have kids" anyway, what was the real harm? Are you trying to imply it's somehow inherently worse to be gay, you big homophobe? Once parents can't associate any losses with a child being gay and the case law is firmly in place for that, pharma can do the rugpull on the meds. Oh, whoops, turns out they make you gay but isn't that fabulous?!

Honest question, but if the Democrats lose, what do you think they will be in the future?

why do I have the gut feeling that 10 minutes after Trump's inauguration and [black lesbian press secretary's] given her walking papers, [she and GAF cable news dweeb] are going to find a dark broomcloset somewhere and just absolutely hate fuck each other into oblivion???
That's just gross. I mean nasty, filthy, ick gross.

Take that shit to SA or ResetEra or some other place where it obviously belongs.

According to MacArthur, after the war the Emperor offered to convert to Christianity, which would have likely had a domino effect in post war Japan, but MacArthur turned him down. It's a foreign thing, which is why the resistance. You should be more surprised that there are any Japanese Christians, after the unification of Japan it was a capital offense to be one and they were not shy in hunting them down. One of the plot lines in the anime Samurai Champloo involves these things.

This movie by Martin Scorsese is about how they dealt with Christian missionaries in the late 1600's in Japan. It is a long, very slow movie but let's just say it doesn't go well for Andrew Garfield or Adam Driver as the missionaries.

Honest opinion, but if the Democrats lose, what do you think they're going to be in the future?
Bernie 2046.

Jokes aside, I don't think much will happen. The DNC is still led by the same group of people and their voterbase's only other choice is le ebil Nazi Party. They would support a pitbull eating babies if they had to.

The right has a lot of work to do on themselves before they can combat their enemies. Many of their enemies are internal.

The biggest problem the right has is that it operates under the liberal worldview. Every debate is built on the foundation of Enlightenment principles that have been proven false.

People aren’t blank slates. They aren’t all the same. They sure as hell aren’t equal.

What the right needs is to embrace postmodernism themselves. They do not offer anything new. They only say we must return to tradition. This is true, but irrelevant.

The right has ignored art, the humanities, and outsourced the responsibility of mythos to Christianity. Christianity also needs to adapt its message. Not in the way they are now where they essentially sell their soul to gain an audience, but in a real way.

For all the criticism you can give the Left, they paint a picture of a beautiful future. It’s unnatural, retarded, and gay, but it’s appealing to the sensibilities of young and naive people.

“We must study history” doesn’t resonate when the concept of history is attached to boring, half-hearted lectures in school and constant messaging that our ancestors were stupid and mean.

The right needs mythos and vision. Until they embrace that, we’re just going to time travel back a few decades until we’re right back where we started. Until there’s a compelling reason to head in the opposite direction, all the “right” will do is complain and sign tap about speed limits.
You, and many others misunderstand liberalism because you have discarded the Christian theological basis that underpins it. You you say "liberalism has failed", because you are trying to apply a Modernist or Post-Modernist framework of thought when implementing Liberal principles, rather than the framework of Christianity. Their goals and definitions are different- like those of a critical race theorist and MLK jr. If you hold these other views you will view Liberalism as a failure, since your modes of thought are intended to bring about different outcomes than Liberalism— rational markets and socialism respectively, not a Christian society where people worship and serve God and have natural rights derived from him.
For example, consider the basic definition of 'equality' under the liberal framework is a Christian one, not what it has warped into over the years and is now taught in school. Equality does not mean to have similar innate ability, or to have fair outcomes or opportunities, or even to be treated fairly because it is referring to the equality of men before God.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, - Romans 3:23
1My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. - 1 John 2:1-2
If anything, we need to reject the increasing atheistic takeover of liberalism which attempts to replace God with the state and advance so called civil rights and social programs— in other words, progressivism.

Honest question, but if the Democrats lose, what do you think they will be in the future?
It's hard to say. They are walking a tightrope now of trying to be Team Good Guys as the public face while holding contradictory positions.

Take Forever Wars and the Neocon philosophy. Most so-called "Neo- Conservatives of the past 30 years are supporting Harris. Democrats are anti-nationalist and anti-patriotic, but support enriching and empowering the Military Industrial Complex and increasing arms production--and eventually boots on the ground in order to "free" oppressed people and be on the Right Side of History. They see nothing wrong with Americans dying to bring transgender rights to the 3rd World at gunpoint. But they aren't pro-America and American values, they are pro-Globalist values.

They are pro-surveillance state because they want to stop people from having anti Globalist and woke opinions and expressing them. Thus they are for big tech corporations. They believe strongly in Science, thus they think scientifically processed foods like fake meat are better, they think pharmaceutical intervention with drugs is better--so they're in the corner of Nabisco and Pfizer.

Thing is, doing propaganda to say "wars are good, freedumbs are slavery, corporations and big government are your friend" is a tough sell. That's why they try to paint the MAGA's as racist, pro business, pro-war and them as looking out for the poor oppressed masses.

Perhaps the shift will be the Democrats wholly embracing the Globalist Party line, pointing to the progressive and linked EU as a model. I could see NATO dying, but in a twist on the increasingly "big tent" NATO bringing in more and more unrelated nations, them talking about the US joining the EU, and a global EU also replacing the UN.

You can see this in the fact that Kamala literally has a Google Antitrust Lawyer debate prepping her vs Trump using Surf Mommy. The election is now Globohomo/Big Brother vs Nationalism/Personal Freedom.

The question is will the mask be ripped off and the parties change names to something like Globalist Party vs American Values Party? Could old school hardliners like Pelosi and Schumer give up the "I'm a Democrat, we're Team Good Guys" identity and could the party with them still clinging to power? Or will more Democrats be like RFK Jr and say "This is not the party I grew up in, they don't have the values of the Democrats of 50 years ago, they are DINOs and I'm out"?

I know that tweet is just a joke but even so I can't believe how many people think he's genuinely supporting Kamala and how the right is using it as a gotcha and the left is claiming he's just trying to cause chaos by saying it. He was clearly just trying to cause laughter by saying it. Anyone with their brain switched on while watching the video should be able to tell he's joking. He's trying not to laugh while saying it, the interviewer is trying not to laugh and the audience laughs and claps when he says it.

You know the last time Putin supported someone as a "joke" the other side would not shut the fuck up about russian collusion. At this point it'sa given.

I'm just waiting for this memetic bullshit to transform into anti-commie finger wagging again.

There was a court case a few years before then, don't remember the details, that didn't get all the way to the SCOTUS where the plaintiffs were citing the right to privacy regarding a medical issue, and the judge explicitly said in his denial, "This has nothing to do with a woman's right to choose." So there had been precedent for some time that the right to privacy implied by the 9th amendment does, in fact, only apply to abortion.
Excuse me if I don't exactly give a shit what the 9th circuit which handles the West Coast thinks is constitutional.

You focus on what matters and let them choke on their own poison and hatred. There is no COVID now, there is no George Floyd to rile over, tranny/migrant/nigger/DEI fatigue is at an all time high so the same plays won't work this time.

Sit by the river long enough and you'll see the body of your enemy float by. They can seethe on Reddit all day if they want while Trump & Co, hopefully, clean the White House, the MSM and the three letter agencies.
Use their methods?

“Americans want to hear both candidates present their competing visions to the voters, unburdened by what has been. No notes, no sitting down, no advance copies of the questions.”

The Trump campaign has some top tier shitposters. If the media gave them even the slightest bit of equal air as they did Democratic flacks, the left would completely lose control over the election's tone. Even if Trump himself had said this, he'd get downplayed.

It's extremely frustrating to me that the entire media and Big Tech apparatus saw what one guy could do with some wit in 2016, then they completely altered the public space so it couldn't happen again.

Why didn't MacArthur just say "OK, sure, if you want?"?

But Putin wasn't joking when he said he supported Trump. He was giving his honest answer then. And the reason the other side wouldn't shut the fuck up about Russian wasn't because Putin said he supported Trump it was because Trump said he wanted the USA to have friendly relations with Russia (probably the main reason Putin said he supported Trump in the first place) & refused to treat it like it was the USSR again and because of the bullshit dossier.

Postmodernism is based on the denial of truth, beauty, and justice. All is subjective. Christianity understands there are universal truths, objective beauty, and that all will eventually face divine justice for their actions. They’re fundamentally incompatible, and Christianity needs to stop thinking this blatantly false ideology of postmodernism is anything more than a blatant grab for power. It’s also ironic they worship science since science makes no sense without objective truth.

In the same vein, Cultural Christians are a plague/fad that will eventually fade as people realize that there is only one truth, and his name is Jesus Christ. That being said, Christians need to remember the Great Commission and stop ignoring the home front so they can evangelize in Africa. We have plenty of non-Christian pseudo-pagans right at home!

IMO there's a higher chance Jesus was resurrected from the dead than what science is saying about the Universe right now. I have spoken with many people smarter than me that have actual science PhDs and believe in God at the same time; the people that workship science on the surface level(think average college student triple vaxxed) are quite ignorant. They think that a couple youtube videos they watched from the deep-state media makes them experts on everything. If you went up to the average leftist that "believes in only science" and just plain out told them which seems more plausible, Jesus was resurrected by God(We have proof jesus was a real person, literal texts from before the time of jesus that predicted he would come, etc), or In the beginning of the Universe there was only one force that magically separated into spacetime, strong and weak forces, etc, and we don't really know what the hell caused this to happen, oh yeah by the way relativity and quantum theory doesn't go together and there's shit like black holes, if they were being completely honest with themselves most would say they'd rather bet on Jesus. I don't see why you should workship science as it is quite obvious to me that God made the universe, we are forever limited by our human observer perspective, perhaps doomed to never figure out all of science as a result.
