Mega Rad Gun Thread

They were the poor man's AK back in the 2000's. Gun culture was a lot different back then.
I remember when those and AKs and Russian ammo was dirt cheap. People were even running 5.45 ARs to take advantage of the ammo costs. 5.56 was in the low .20 cent per round range and the Russian calibers were half that or less.

I came of age a few years after that era ended and was depressed as hell about it.

The most entertaining one is the Mosins. They could barely sell them even with a case of ammo, and they are absolutely terrible guns. The SKS and AKs are at least serviceable rifles.
Collectability is the only redeeming factor and NGL, I do like the M44 because the fireball and the folding bayonet.

Won't dox myself as to why, but Paul is a personal loss, and it's good to see that his "I'm dead" has given people closure and an opportunity to grieve properly. He cared about the people who learned from him. And he had a sense of dark humor that's come through really well.

raise a glass and pour some out.

Milsurp wasn't amazing, but it was still pretty accessible pre covid. People hate on Classic firearms and RTI but I've gotten a few rifles from them before covid and they were very serviceable at a decent price. I got a Vz52 from them for 500, type 56 albo-viet SKS for 300, hex receiver m91/30 for 300, and carcano cavalry carbine for 200$! Other than that in small mom and pop shops it was pretty good. 250$ Spanish/czech/whatever mausers. 300$ M95s, 400$ berthiers, 350$ arisakas. Not great but totally affordable.

It's always the millionaire fuckwits in their gated 90+% white communities that think we're the crazy ones.
It’s funny you say that because Hasan’s former friend, Ethan (((Klein))) lives in a gated community in Bel-Air and he has gone on video before with his larpercore SPAS-12 or Benelli Nova or something.

EDIT: according to @Agares, it’s actually a Benelli M4.

You mean in this video? It looks like Ethan's shotgun is a Benelli M4.

Pretty expensive so of course a rich Jew from LA would buy that but not really a bad choice for home defense in a ban state like Cali.

I apologize, I’m not very familiar with shotguns in general. Thank you for correcting me, brüder.

Does anyone know what VFG's they were using in the late 90's/early 2000's for M16's with the quad rail? I'm trying to keep my AR setup period accurate.
gangster grip built from an A2 grip and scope ring with rail section and switches (old school setup, i used something like this for a while), ARMS QD grip (spooky boy grip but actually meant for the rail and not bolted on with make-shift work), KAC grips that actually came with the RIS and RAS, grip-pods, wilcox power grip, surefire m900 (late in the GWOT). i also saw some people with a folding grip of some kind but don't know the brand. i want to say it was mako or fab defense but not sure. 90% of people with a VFG had a grip-pod or KAC grip from 1997 through 2008+.

This clip stood out to me in showing how much of a limpwristed soyboy idubbbz is, even in 2018.

The way the LCR almost flies out of his hand not once but twice might make one think it's a .357, but Ethan's handling of it mere moments later proves it's just a run of the mill .38, he can handle it just fine while idubbbz looks like he's about to drop it from the sheer force of .38 Special's ferocious recoil. What a faggot.

I'm probably going with the KAC grip for simplicity.
