I can't find the article right now, but I distinctly remember the NIH (I think it was) updating their policy on who gets to access the genetic database - and specifically saying that if your goal is to find genetic links to race, they would deny you access.

There's a bit of an "Emperor's New Clothes" thing going on with Leftists and race. A lot of them do see the truth (they see that the emperor is naked) but they actively, consciously, deliberately choose to lie and say that they don't see it because (a) they fear the consequences to themselves, i.e. their careers and their social lives, and (b) as the study below suggests, they fear the consequences for society as mentioned by the XKCD parody above.

Specifically, "study 6" - they showed participants one of two fake news stories, let's call them (A) and (B).

News story (A) claimed that a scientific study had found that whites are smarter than blacks due to their genes.

News story (B) claimed that a scientific study had found that blacks are smarter than whites due to their genes.

They'd show one of those to a participant and ask them, "do you think this story is accurately reporting the scientific finding" - then, no matter what the participant said, they'd go "lol jk it's actually the opposite" ...and then ask them if they believe it's real.

So just to clarify, some people are shown (A) and asked if they think it's real, and some of those people will say "yeah that's probably real" ...then they'd be told it was made up and (B) is the article ...and asked if that's real.

You would think that some people "trust the science" and thus would say both (A) and (B) are real, or neither are real. But Leftists in particular, when shown (A) they'd say, "no that's not real" then when switched to (B) they'd say "yeah that's probably real" and vice versa.

Check out the white bar on the far left of this graph. It's the lowest bar on the graph. That's liberals (leftists) being shown an article which claims that whites are smarter than blacks. They reject the science! The highest bar (the most acceptance) for leftists is when you tell them that blacks are smarter than whites.



It's the opposite for conservatives ...but so what? The conservatives are right! There is actual evidence of a genetic link to IQ and it does actually favor whites. So if you see a news story that says "actually, blacks are smarter" then the appropriate thing to do is to dismiss it!

This paper pulled the same trick with "men are smarter than women" and some other topics. It's really fascinating.

The military used to work that way. They wanted bodies, so they'd accept people and send them to training, and if you failed training, they'd just make you do it again. The result was, everyone with a qualification on their record had actually earned that qualification. Not sure if it still works that way.

Blacks would do much better in society if education worked like that. Don't promote them to the next grade until they learn the material. Definitely don't admit them to university by lowering the standards just for them! Instead, say "okay, you didn't score high enough on the MCAT to be a doctor right now, but here's a free course you can attend, and try again next year!"

If that was the policy, then you would know for a fact that every doctor, even a black doctor, met the standard. Instead, because they lower the standards for blacks, what you know is that an asian doctor had to meet a higher standard than a black doctor ...thus it's in your best interest to go to an asian doctor.

Words like superior and inferior only make sense with a context, a purpose You can only say, “superior for this purpose .”

A knife is superior to a fork for the purpose of cutting a steak, but not for other purposes.

I’m white. Asians, as a group, have a higher IQ than whites, as a group. But it would never occur to me to say “I am inferior to an Asian.” For a start, I’m an individual, not a group. I'm sure my IQ is higher than some Asians…and lower than others.

But more importantly, my group’s intelligence is clearly different from theirs and I’m able to take pride in that. It’s obvious (to me at least) that white people, as a group, are attracted to things like exploration.

And as I said a few pages back, whites commit more crime than Asians. If the world consisted only of whites and Asians, people would (rightly) point out what is often pointed out in this thread about blacks: “hey look at this, white people committing crime!”

I would be happy to accept that as truth. I wouldn’t take it personally. I would try my best to be a better representative of my group. It would only be necessary to have a thread like this if everyone else denied this truth …which is what people do with blacks.

Honestly, I would be offended if people made excuses for whites higher criminality- I would see it as denying my agency.

That's something I think about occasionally. I don't know how much certain differences between whites and (East) Asians are genetic. What I do know is that if everyone emulated how (East) Asia traditionally has been, whatever genetic or environmental factors go into it, the most advanced computer in the world today would probably be an abacus. Maybe repeatedly losing millions of people in war over the centuries—East Asian philosophy in general is largely shaped by China and its often very bloody history—just makes one not want to rock the boat and get stuck in one's ways. On the other hand, an environmental explanation of Western scientific thinking was one I read of in a book called Uncommon Sense: The Heretical Nature of Science which attributed the rise of such thinking to historical factors like how a Greek scholar who was deemed unacceptable in one city-state could get on a boat and fuck off to another and continue spreading their ideas.

In other news, I was just at the grocery market looking for spices that I as a white person allegedly waged vicious wars of colonialism for and then never actually used when an Apefrican migrant (mumbling on speakerphone but definitely not speaking AAVE) dropped a pack of peppercorns which spilled out on the floor and then just put it busted open and partially empty back on the shelf for YT to deal with. I don't know how anyone walks around in the world and buys the lie that Brown women are naturally "thicc". Many are, but the majority of Mexican women have the Asian no-butt that comes from their native American roots, and so at their worst fitness these women have this apple-linebacker look that gives them knock knees when they get obese. Black women can cultivate large powerful glutes, but the mass is aimed backwards, not to the sides. If you look at a fit black woman, their hips are actually quite narrow.
