Many ppl have remarked on this and idk it’s just what comes to mind whenever I read about chibi. He thinks and writes like a 15 year old. He treats making his bed and cleaning his room like a great achievement worthy of public bragging/praise like a lazy 15 year old boy would. Even his hobbies and media are for that age range. ???? If he was actually 15 there could be a glimmer of hope for him becoming a normal human some day but he is hurtling towards 40.

Come to think of it in that phone call to his mom she confesses “the psychologist said he is more mentally like a 13 year old” or something. Though that was years ago.

If I wanted to put on my armchair psychologist hat I'd say he's suffering some form of arrested development due to his dad dying, but I think the reality is he's just a loser and no amount of 'what if...' speculation will ever change that fact.

I can't remember the exact lore but I think he lives/lived with his brother at some point, and I also feel like there was some story about his mom co-signing a lease or something. I'm pretty confident it was one of those times when he was an absolute prick to her despite her doing him a favor.

Yeah, him and his brother got the Condo/Apartment with help from their mom. She co-signed (and I believed paid a little bit) the lease. But his brother recently moved out and Cheebs was, and probably still is, dreading getting a new roommate because he claimed he couldn't do everything by himself.
