One Piece - I'm Gonna Be the Pirate King!

I really like how soft Imu’s walk is with how slow they are. I like how unnatural it all comes across.

I would like to know where Imu came from though to be able to get behind them and start walking…I assume the Garden must have a doir to the throne higher up than the base.
I always presumed that Imu's room was adjacent to the Throne Room, like he came in directly from a door to the right.

Although honestly with what we’ve seen from the Elders. I kind of like the idea that Imu can just kind of teleport in. And that’s why he got them to gather in rhe throne room. He thought Cobra would ask what he did and if he did Imu absolutely was going to speak to him and flex while doing so. So he just gets Elders to go where he wants to warp to just in case.

Honestly, my guess would be that Imu is not of the One Piece world, or at least cut from the same cloth as Joy Boy. When Imu killed Saturn with smoke, all Imu was pissed about with Joy Boy escaping Egghead, which Saturn did by not pursuing Luffy.

Meanwhile, the Gorosei are the ones who killed Clover before he said the name of the kingdom (or at least authorized everything that let up to it), are the ones who know about Luffy’s devil fruit being named for the Sun god, Nika, and we’re pissed that Luffy’s new wanted poster had him in Gear 5 and try to stop it getting released.

So Imu gives powers to the Gorosei in exchange for worship and allegiance, but doesn’t tell them about Joy Boy, and there may be a chance that the depths of knowledge the Gorosei have about the Void Century may be as limited and scattered as the average One Piece reader, only completely connecting and explaining the endgame once Luffy comes across this information (and sleeps through it or it goes in one ear and out the other. Or doesn’t care in the slightest.)

In the end both the Gorosei and Imu are doing the same thing: fighting feverishly to preserve the status quo from an agent of chaos harnessing what seems to be an unstoppable force in the form of willpower. Except Imu has been doing this for longer and on a grander scale. And I can only assume knows the true nature of the chaotic adversary, and may even keep this info from even the closest of followers.

I'm going to guess Imu isn't in Marie goise at all and simply teleports in when needed. I'm guessing Imu is also the source of the Elders summoning ability much like he's the source of their immortality.

My guess is Imu is actually on the fucking moon.

Huge Spoiler! The Five Elders are actually the Sailor Scouts. Well, they are now that Saturn is dead. Ju Peter and Jupiter are my favorites.
You mean this could be real?

@Trombonista you’re welcome for new images to curse the people that spoil this series.

Eh, Imu’s got a garden and cold room with a straw hat to chill in at the castle, so Imu just stays in the garden and goes to the throne room only when called upon.

As for power source, along with Imu’s power, I’d say that’s the case, and the method to do so is the “treasure of Mary Geoise”, along side “the treasure that is One Piece”. A power to surpass devil fruits. A power, perhaps even a weapon, to surpass Metal Gear.

Moon man is Sailor Moon.

Imu is Sailor Cosmos after Figarland achieves true racism, which is hating someone for such nuanced and unobservable reasons that it’s like a woman being able to tell the difference between black paints.

Imu is Klaus from American Dad?
Yes.

Be honest it wouldn't even be in the top 10 weirdest shit that has happened in the series.

Well Imu was listening into the conversation according to the Manga and only decided to show up once The D was mentioned and decided to answer it. Imu and the Elders didn't seem to actually know if Lili was a D or not and him showing up to..not at all answer Cobra's question got confirmation that Lili was a D.

Imagine learning all the cultures of the world, and becoming multilingual…all so your racist jokes and racist activities and racist memes can have more of an impact.

As I thought: Imu is hiding things from even the Gorosei. Most likely the extent of the conflict with Joy Boy. Maybe Imu is straight up telling them that Joy Boy doesn’t even exist. And the one Elder who heard that name is dead.

I doubt Saturn getting fired has anything to do with hiding Joyboy's existence from the elders, that secret is already out because Vegapunk straight up said Joyboy was a person who was born with powers similar to the Sun God Nika during his broadcast.

Reading the Official release I think it is pretty safe to say Imu killed Saturn because Luffy got away.

Imagine being so racist that you can insult them on a regional level. I’ve seen that with old British men insulting Indians and Filipina women who married American sailors telling off other Asians.

It’s like watching a Butcher surgically dismember a living animal without it being aware it’s being killed.

Okay, maybe the world knows of Joy Boy, but you have to wonder how many people know Luffy is Joy Boy 2.0 (besides the elephant). The Gorosei know about the Nika powers, as does the world thanks to Vegapunk, but I’m willing to gander that Imu sees Luffy as the ancient adversary that must be stopped, while the Gorosei only see a chaotic force that must be brought to heel to preserve (wherever is left of) the balance of the world before Roger started the treasure hunt.

Obviously Imu is an alien from the moon, and they're hiding rabbit ears under that hat, and their real name is Kaguya. Oh wait...
Poor Kaguya would get her ass beat by Gear 5 Luffy.

Bitch couldn't even handle the Harem Jutsu, Luffy going full Toon World on her ass would have her crying.

I would say this is possible if the Elder Stars are regularly replaced.

Saturn was active 200 years ago when he refused to scrap the robot, so at least he has been around for a while (and lends credence that Imu has some sort of life prolonging powers. That are given on the condition of total loyalty and obedience.), so until we get Gorosei backstory (which will probably be Luffy learns about them and their machinations, or Dragon and Sabo because of their WG war), this tidbit means the suggestion you posted could go either way.

The title of the most recent chapter was "What Constitutes as Death?" I suppose the inverse is true as well. What constitutes as life? Maybe the Gorosei are long past their natural lives. Maybe Imu didn't kill Saturn. Maybe Imu just stopped sustaining him.
