Edit to mention that while we avoided being flooded with muslims the town was hit by a bunch of out of state professional homeless people who were bussed in, held in a mental facility, and when their time was up they were tossed to the streets with no aid. You cannot fucking tell me this isn't being done on purpose to towns that are somewhat safe and decent, and it'll be done until there is nowhere left that is safe and decent. I'm not fully discounting the intentional destruction angle, but I think it isn't necessary to explain what happens. Basically, the feds are looking to spread the burden across the entire country, because the usual immigration centers (NYC, southern California, Texas border) are already overwhelmed.

You have to imagine the technocrat's POV. Their supporters in big cities come screaming that their homeless shelters are full and their budgets are in the red. But if you told him "the US is full, no more immigrants", he would get angry and wave at all that "wasted space" outside the big cities. US population density is lower than many developed countries, because we have so much countryside, so many places where people could spread out without forming new mega cities.

A technocrat doesn't see that spacing as culture or homeland. He sees it as a resource.

I think all these small towns without infrastructure or capacity are being dumped on because the big towns that do have it have been reporting they're full. Now the smaller cities are reporting it too, but TPTB don't care about them. They view it as necessary to accomplish their goals, and the small towns don't matter politically.

of course the problem is that the houses will be absolutely destroyed by then. I don't know what the mortgage would be on those properties, but as soon as the Haitans get kicked out/arrested/deported and the houses condemned he will be very poor.

Those are GOVERNMENT requests for user data. The EU is the central government of the EU. They don't care about the public's privacy when it comes to themselves or the individual countries' governments spying on their citizens.

Having worked somewhat in this field, the EU generally has stronger protections for data than the USA. Your point isn't really clear but I don't see anything that refutes a hypothesis that maybe Microsoft's compliance rate is falling whilst Meta's, Apple's and Google's are rising is possibly because of compliance with EU laws in regional subsiduaries. This was discussed further but I didn't see any authorative replies I think. The King of Denmark nor the Danish govt. get to decide whether or not Greenland could become the USA's 50th State. A referendum of the citizens of Greenland (which is legally distinct from citizens of Denmark) would be the legal requirement for accession.

As the climate warms and more of Greenland's arable land and mineral wealth becomes accessible, the value of Greenland increases. American finance and industry could significantly help develop that and enrich the existing population. I mean financially, I'm not talking about "cultural enrichment". In addition to the strategic location others have brought up. Trump should revisit this.

That's literally mathematically not true. Neither of the third parties stole electoral votes from Clinton or Trump (because they didn't get any), and even if we count all the faithless elector votes, that seven would not have bridged the gap either. In neither of the states were the votes close enough that an extra ~3% (max) votes would have flipped it over to Clinton.
