To start off with, I have to say that the odds of Aaron beating April is not Zero.
But it is a serious enough allegation, that I would like to see some good solid evidence. It should not be a case of "well you can't prove that it didn't happen," that always falls into the god-of-the-gaps style of argumentation.
Aaron’s body language in this clip really gives off the vibe that he’s hiding something. As soon as Johnny starts talking about the domestic violence accusations, Aaron’s leg starts bouncing with anxiety and he can’t stop touching his nose and reading the chat.
Of course Aaron is pissed and stressed. Aaron knows that April has been telling Keanu stories that really pissed Keanu off. But they are stories that are not being shared with the audience. Just innuendo. He may be fearing that under the influence of Nick, those two will come up with the worst possible accusations in order to either shut him up, or get retribution.
At the end of the day, we don't know the exact source and/or details behind Aaron's stress response. We just know that Aaron had a stress response. Even innocent people can have a stress response under interrogation if they fear the cops think he is guilty.
Aaron has the full physical size, strength AND training to get just about any problem with April under control without hitting her or kicking her. Bear hugs & holding her head should be sufficient for just about anything outside of her getting all stabby with a knife or gun.
He would have to be a complete psychopath to hit or kick her violently when he doesn't have to do so.
So is now all of her joking around being reframed? What is hitting? Did he give her a nice little playful swat on the ass that can now be reframed into "hitting" under the worst possible light? Was she bent over her and he gave her a light playful little *boop* and now that is being reframed into kicking her? It is all "technically" true in a Nick Rekieta sort of way.
By all means, Aaron stated that they joked around about physical abuse on their show all of the time. Collect all of the case examples and let's look at what she has already said. Maybe we can gleem something from this.
But above all, the biggest thing that stands out to me is that
Ashely, the first wife, NEVER claimed that Aaron physically abused her, even when she filed the restraining order to get Aaron to shut up and stop talking about her on the show. She had to reach to what April had told her about him getting an argument under control in front of the kids.
The fact that none of this is being handed over to the police suggests to me that this is tactical and character assassination by quietly "leaking" claims to 3rd parties such as Keanu who will suggest things without being detailed, explicit or a first hand account.
Plus the only thing tying April to Aaron was a marriage certificate. Zero biological kids of her own. She had no problem washing her hands of the step kids when it was convenient for her. If she was being physically abused, hit and kicked she could have drove away in her car any day she wanted. Hell, it was easy as hell for her to walk away from Aaron in exchange for her drug supplier Nick.
The St. Cloud police have already proven that they love this kind of shit and would love to charge Aaron for shit if they have the right amount of evidence. At bare minimum they will do a full investigation.
And hell, if the evidence is good, April won't have to wait for the St. Cloud police to get vengeance for beating her. Aaron's gym will do the job faster and easier than them, and it will be completely legal. The gym will do a better job of teaching Aaron a lesson than the police ever could.
Edit: There is also a non-Zero chance that either Aaron or April was into BDSM. But no word from Kayla or Ashely about that. And it is a rather popular female fantasy to be physically dominated like that. Maybe some of that is being conflated. Women who are into BDSM has bitten many celebrities in the ass before.
