Ya, peak Harris is long gone. 'They' surely must be scared shitless President Trump will win if they dragged out Dick Cheney and ten long-forgotten military people to endorse Harris. Actually talked with one of them, a General Newton, when he was a colonel and base commander at a base where I was stationed. Think I called the Commander's Action Line with a complaint about something on base and he called me back. Sounded nice over the phone, but he's gotta be in his 80's now.

Didn't watch the debate. Think there will be another one?

Abc is owned by Disney and is the hardest for the uniparty left. If Trump wins and his White House controls the afirmative action cases staring at Disney they are in for a bad time. Disney also wants a friendly environment to sell off assets or make merges.

Msnbc is so left they have nice noises to hamas. They also be benefit from a Trump victory being resistance hq.

The channels have some subtle but important differences. Abc NEEDS Trump to lose. Msbc would just like for it to happen.

They’ll do their damndest to equalize and minimize her falling in the polls when the weekend reveal happens on the debate perceptions. It’s too soon for any real poll shift to occur from tonight.

As much of a Trump guy as I am, honestly, I just want this election cycle fucking over with. I'm not going to repeat what likely has already been said for the upteenth time about this shitshow. No one really likes Kamala, but she's all they got at this point.

I just want to go back to groceries and gas being affordable, bros. I'm sick of spending damn near $200 for two weeks worth of shit quality food.

This is worse for Kamala than trump. The Republicans have always had a vocal doomer faction since at least 2018, not to mention the RINOs themselves. It was a given that if she improved on the Biden debacle then they'd shout to the heavens about how Trump lost.
While Kamala has the vote blue no matter who and the entire Media to laser focus on what she did and exagerate. They are the ones desperate to find any sort of victory to prop up at least the ego and yet they're not getting it. That is a worrying sign for the Democrats.

They are all, to varying degrees. Even Fox News. Any institution not explicitly right wing eventually becomes left wing due to the left's culture of entryism, nepotism, and the absurd tendency for them to consider their own stances to be "neutral" even when they're calling for a Central Planned economy and to put conservative children in party ran orphanages.


But one simple heuristic: if everything you’ve tried so far has failed, maybe you should try something different. Right now, the neutral gatekeeper institutions have tried being biased against conservatives. They’ve tried showing anti-conservative bias. They’ve tried ramping up the conservativism-related bias level. They’ve tried taking articles, and biasing them against conservative positions. I appreciate their commitment to multiple diverse strategies, but I can’t help but wonder whether there’s a possibility they’ve missed.

Look. I read Twitter. I know the sorts of complaints people have about this blog. I’m some kind of crypto-conservative, I’m a traitor to liberalism, I’m too quick to sell out under the guise of “compromise”. And I understand the sentiment. I write a lot about how we shouldn’t get our enemies fired lest they try to fire us, how we shouldn’t get our enemies’ campus speakers disinvited lest they try to disinvite ours, how we shouldn’t use deceit and hyperbole to push our policies lest our enemies try to push theirs the same way. And people very reasonably ask – hey, I notice my side kind of controls all of this stuff, the situation is actually asymmetrical, they have no way of retaliating, maybe we should just grind our enemies beneath our boots this one time.

And then when it turns out that the enemies can just leave and start their own institutions, with horrendous results for everybody, the cry goes up “Wait, that’s unfair! Nobody ever said you could do that! Come back so we can grind you beneath our boots some more!”

Conservatives aren’t stuck in here with us. We’re stuck in here with them. And so far it’s not going so well. I’m not sure if any of this can be reversed. But I think maybe we should consider to what degree we are in a hole, and if so, to what degree we want to stop digging.

Harris promised to deal with price gouging on food, specifically. Trump will give tax breaks to the Waltons.
