Among other things, annexing Crimea and 4 Donbas regions from Russia against most of those people's will after they democratically overwhelmingly voted to rejoin Russia. Like what Lenin did in 1922 (Donbas, along with the rest of Ukraine) and Khrushchev did in 1954 (Crimea). So basically they support the actions of the USSR over the will of the people. So democratic!

Yes. So fucking retarded. Not only is Russia not going to invade the rest of Europe (unless other European countries directly start attacking it) but if they just wanted to take the whole of Ukraine they probably would have done it already.

I'm just going to give you a quick example. There's this little country called South Ossetia. It actually used to be part of Russia. (North Ossetia still is. It was split by, you guessed it, the USSR.) Basically, since the start of the USSR South Ossetia had been trying to gain independence from Georgia. (It actually declared it back in 1990 but Georgia & the USSR wouldn't let it split.) Russia helped it finally do that around 10 years ago. The South Ossetians would actually like to rejoin Russia so eventually a few years ago the President of South Ossetia asked Putin if they could rejoin. He told him that the South Ossetian government would have to hold a referendum and if the majority of South Ossetians voted to rejoin Russia then he would accept and they would be part of Russia again. Since then there was an election before the President could organise the referendum and he lost the election and the new President has been dragging his feet on the referendum but says he'll get around to it. So, basically, if Putin wants to invade the rest of Europe why hasn't he even taken South Ossetia when its President offered it to him?
