Sigh... And here I am still stewing over being told that he fucked Daran Norris' missus, while working with him on Transformers: Animated. Still think he's great as Ares, Ken Masters, Heatblast, Ghostfreak, Vilgax, and the animated series and video games Wolverine will always be how I hear Wolvie's voice on the rare occasion I read an X-Men comic, or those ones where Spider-Man and or the Avengers team up with them. Those are my favourite roles of his, but like I said in that conversation with the member who told me about that shit, I feel dirty revisiting them now.

My favourite male voice actor currently is Matthew Mercer. Most of his work seems to be video game voice work, and he seems like he's a good bloke, who I'd talk with for hours about nerdy/geeky stuff. Also, he voiced one of my favourite fighters in Mortal Kombat (2011): Stryker, and my favourite fighter in Soul Calibur V: Z.W.E.I.

Tbf Daran quietly came out like...a few years ago. I believe he teaches in Texas now. I have no idea if that's why she divorced him. I just remember it was like right after the Tsunami.

Steve is one to talk considering he and Liz fucked off to expensive ass Hawaii. Never has tds been so prevelant.

Matt seems cool. He's the perfect replacement for NFT Baker purely because.....hes not NFT Baker. His performance in Baldur's Gate 3 was the pinnacle of lazy stunt casting though. He couldn't even try. They should have just gotten Roger Craig Smith.

@Scarlett Johansson The more and more I'm reading about this whole thing with Steve and Liz, the more annoyed I'm getting. They sound like morally shit people. Daran being gay is likely just an excuse for his wife to get her rocks off, and, not to be a Puritan-sounding prude, but she probably would have still cheated on him. Not saying this is "right" or anything, but loads of people do tend to get bored with the idea of committedly boinking one person for the rest of their lives. Additionally, cheaters are sometimes known to fall in love with their fuck buddy.

But maybe that's partial bias influencing my outlook, since two members of my family, that I know of, were conceived because of affairs: my paternal grandad, and my mum.

And your point about M.M. in Baldur's Gate 3 reminds me of Leon and Chris reuniting in RE6 {they've known each since at least Code Veronica, and Chris name-drops him in 5, because the focus was a new species of Las Plagas, mostly}. When they're arguing, they've got roughly the same growly-shouty voice. Yeah, I make tangentially related connections in my mind.

@Introvertigo The last I heard of him was as this decently badass villain. INITIALLY, he was a villain:

I don't like a person born in 1992 doing ADR. I also don't like them running studios like Amber Connors. Call me old fashioned but it.....just feels wrong.

It still was weird having Abby Trott and Xander Mobus in Smash Brothers. Xander shouldn't have been cast. They should have continued to stick with older actors. And as for Trott her rendition of the theme song is.......mediocre at best.

I only know Xander Mobus because of Abigail in Street Fighter V. Otherwise... nada. Abigail, though, back in Final Fight, used to be a huge nigger, like Birdie has been since Alpha/Zero, but is obviously white, like Birdie used to be in Fighting Street, where he was a blonde traditional Cockney punk, as opposed to the Hulking Black Briton, who dresses like a Japanese punk.

The funny thing is that you can clearly pinpoint a character because Xander is nasal. Joker, Smash Announcer, all of em. It's a case where you would think he has the range but.....he doesn't. I did laugh when he tried to tell off Wendee Lee for being a cunt only for her to serve it back to him.

When Wendee was losing her mind in the whole Anaris Bleach controversy (Anaris was voicing Yurichi...yuruchi? The black girl with a dark purple ponytail? In bleach. Then she was abruptly replaced by wendee) and it unleashed a firestorm on Twitter. Wendee started going ballistic. Allegra Clark subtly insulted Wendee, Xander also got cranky about it. Wendee responded to the latter with "Really Xander?"
Oh and something about Wendee misgender people
