Now that I think about it, the pictures he posts of children remind me of construction paper projects. I swear when I was like 8 we were given a picture of ourselves and a bunch of magazines, and we were told to cut out elements, paste them on construction paper, and make an introduction for ourselves.

I wonder if that's what those weird collages are. As if he's literally "presenting" the alter-ego he produced to his teacher.

I feel the same way about the other girl that said she was contacting the police about him using her photos. I think his thinking is that if he says that the police are already being contacted, that people won't contact the police also. I assume the people on reddit are taking these comments as gospel, too, so it's probably working.

I don't think so, partially because David would have been too old when it aired and partially because I'm not sure it ever actually aired in the UK. I Googled it and I would have been in the age range to watch it when it aired (early-mid 2000s) but have no memory of it.

The kind of shows David would have grown up watching would have been things like Bagpuss, Parsley the Lion, and The Wombles. No obvious inspirations for the "pale skin and big red lips" there.

When you view all this from the angle of "he's an AGP, but for kids instead of women" it explains a lot of the weirdness. AGPs fetishize the concept of womanhood while also not understanding it outside of its most superficial trappings (dresses, breasts, makeup, etc.). David's understanding of being a child is also focused on its most superficial aspects: Having to go to school, having parents who look after them (hence the "This account is monitored by my mum" line in the Instagram bios), having to wear a uniform.

These are things he focuses on because he perceives the fact children have to do these things as being unpleasant for them, the same way that AGPs are motivated by the underlying misogyny that being a woman is a "lesser" state than being a man and so to become one is humiliating. He doesn't care about how children talk or act because that's not relevant to him, what's relevant is what society does to them because they are children.

Kids do not like wearing school uniforms, even though they have to. That's the source of arousal. That's why he wrote letters to newspapers defending uniform policies, he was turning himself on at the idea that his letters would influence people to keep making kids wear uniforms.

David is not the only pedophile who thinks this way. I remember there was a guy on Yahoo Answers who used to post questions along the lines of "I made my child wear his school uniform at home as a punishment, is that okay?" and then respond with sockpuppets of himself agreeing and saying they should extend the punishment in various ways (make them wear it over the summer, for example). I know it wasn't David because I remember the writing style being different.

None of this explains the pale skin or the big red lips, though. Who the fuck knows what's going on with that.

He doesn't seem to repeat names with his other characters, so I agree with everyone saying that David is probably his real first name or at least the name that he really goes by. I'm not sold on Alter being his last name though, especially since it gets brought up as "Walter Alter" so much. That doesn't sound like an actual name (what parent would give their kid the middle name Walter if their last name is Alter, but also give the very normal first name David?) but more like something that gets passed around because whoever started the rumor (in real life, presumably) wasn't sure if his last name was Walter, Alter, or a name that sounded similar. "His name is David Walter or Alter or something like that" gets turned into "His name is David Walter Alter".
His age also seems pretty suspect to me. I think he could be younger than assumed. People saying they knew him as the town freak since the 90s/2000s describe him as older but also seem to have all been young teens/schoolkids themselves at the time. When you're that young, anyone who's graduated schooling is old. To a 12 year old, there might as well be no difference between a 25 year old and a 40 year old. You see a person in their early 20s and think "they're old" and place them in the same category as someone pushing 50. You don't necessarily revisit and reevaluate that assumption when you grow up, if you never see that person again. (Think about your middle school teachers. How old did you think they were? How old were they really?) Plus, he's obviously ugly and might be fat. Those would make him look "older" to kids. Not to mention the school uniform - if someone obviously too old to be wearing a school uniform is wearing one, then it basically achieves the affect of making them look even older, kind of like how troons tend to somehow look even more masculine when they put on dresses and makeup.
I'm not sure how to feel about the dates given in the "half brother" stories. On the one hand, they're autistically specific. On the other hand, these stories dont seem to be very consistent.. it gives the impression that he's describing real events (from his less than reliable perspective) but could be replacing dates/places to cover his tracks.
I don't see any reason to assume that making a jeet character for one of his "half brother" stories confirms his ethnicity. He seems to make characters of various races. The girl who had her images stolen was some kind of east asian I think, and I don't think that's even in the running for 'David' himself.
He does seem like he is intentionally concealing his identity and being misleading. Basically, I'm not sure if the "David Alter" found in property records is him at all. That house might be basically unrelated, it's been noted that lots of houses around there look nearly identical.

To be quite honest, I doubt much more information will come to light that isn't already compiled in the Google Drive folders/archive documents people have already made. Zoomers have already turned him into a meme and are beginning to impersonate him, and it goes without saying that's going to do nothing but muddy the waters.

It's going to be a hell of a lot harder to find his new accounts once he inevitably relapses into his weird fetish thing. This type of person does not stop even when they get attention drawn to them, as evidenced by goonclown. Hell there's still sightings of logging onto Deviantart to this day on his account as if nothing happened lmao
