Even with the lights off, a case that looks like a backyard fusion plant still looks like a backyard fusion plant. Black rectangle supremacy. Can’t you just turn off the lights in BIOS?
They're right. Those games actually run at 40fps. Take that, chuds. The Tom Warren tweet has sent them into a tizzy, claiming that PS5PRO will still run games at 30fps. The response from Sonyfags? "There are no PS5 games that run at 30fps"
Does one need a hookup of some sort or can anyone easily purchase these?I started buying used enterprise workstations in recent years and never want to go back. They're built like brick shithouses compared to consumer PCs, have great layout and airflow, and I don't have worry about any "1337 gamer" trappings.
Nah, you can find stuff like Lenovo Thinkstations on Ebay or other sites all day long. From what I understand, they're typically computers that were leased by some corporate customer and then sold off in big batches for a pittance once the lease was up.Does one need a hookup of some sort or can anyone easily purchase these?
I do not think that is the praise they think it is.The response from Sonyfags? "There are no PS5 games that run at 30fps"
Instead they have faggy rainbow flags everywhere. The one thing consoles still have over PCs is the lack of faggy RGB everywhere.
I miss Miiverse, it was a great idea and I'm just baffled by Nintendo dropping it. They're cheapskates so the only thing I can assume is it didn't generate profit so it had to go.It also gave us the greatest social media platform.

That's how you get corporate anything for cheap, with companies selling off their hardware in bulk. That's how I ended up getting a 32" 2K monitor for cheap.Nah, you can find stuff like Lenovo Thinkstations on Ebay or other sites all day long. A local security firm flogs wiped HDD's to a charity shop for pennies. £40 for 6TB WD HDDThat's how you get corporate anything for cheap, with companies selling off their hardware in bulk. That's how I ended up getting a 32" 2K monitor for cheap.
You know how down bad gaming is when an optical drive on a console is worth celebrating.Counting the $80 disc drive, PS5 Pro is still the most expensive by one dollar.
Spoken like a faggot. I don't play twitch multiplayer fag shooters and I've had a PC in concurrence with every single console that has come out because I am not poor. When I play the games I like I don't feel like 120 FPS is a necessity, as opposed to 60, which feels light years beyond better than anything below.Spoken like the console pleb you are. 60fps is hot garbage with kb/m if you get used to real refresh rates.
Those security HDD are a real deal.A local security firm flogs wiped HDD's to a charity shop for pennies. £40 for 6TB WD HDD
You can also get a 12TB former server HDD fully loaded with emulation of every system from 1970 to 2024 including Switch and PS4, including every damn game image ever released for under $300 from China. KinHank and a couple other places are doing them. Those security HDD are a real deal.
I'm tempted to buy the stock and flog them on Ebay. They sell 2TB for £20. Every three month they get a new block of HDD's in and I know if I strong arm them I could pick up 2x6TB and 10x2TB for £200-£250 (worst case). Those security HDD are a real deal.
And then from there does one need to add/replace hardware components to get the rig up to whatever performance level they want? Is it reasonably simple to do that with these types of machines?Nah, you can find stuff like Lenovo Thinkstations on Ebay or other sites all day long. From what I understand, they're typically computers that were leased by some corporate customer and then sold off in big batches for a pittance once the lease was up.
Do those operate reliably and for a decent amount of time? Or is it a huge gamble? You can also get a 12TB former server HDD fully loaded with emulation of every system from 1970 to 2024 including Switch and PS4, including every damn game image ever released for under $300 from China. Yeah, it's not fundamentally different than changing parts in any other PC. They tend to come with workstation CPUs and older sockets so you won't be able to swap in the absolute latest hotshot Ryzen CPU or whatever, but it's plenty good enough to run modern games or other software for years to come. And then from there does one need to add/replace hardware components to get the rig up to whatever performance level they want? and it doesn't even have any games except Astrobot.700 dollars? WHAT THE FUCK
By the way, I have a question for this thread. A lot of people here (myself included) have said that resolution starts hitting diminishing returns beyond 1080p, and 4K really isn’t worth it at the detriment of anything else. But what about 120 FPS? I can immediately notice a difference between 30 and 60, but anything beyond 60 is more of a perk than a requirement. Hitting a steady 1080p 60FPS with no dynamic resolution or dips should be a priority before trying to experiment with higher specs.
You'll never get autists to understand this. In the digital audio world, we've long since surpassed the innate abilities of the human ear, but there are armies of spergs out there who are absolutely convinced they can hear the difference with gold-plated cables and 192khz sample rates and all sorts of other audio snake oil.As for those 240 and 360 FPS monitors: Total waste of money and resources, a "bigger number better" marketing gimmick since, at best 220 FPS is the upper limit of human visual perception,
