They cant because anyone who seen it live thought trump was amazing at those two points. Even libs at work had to give props to that one. (I havent talked to the extreme tds people but thats because they're legit hostile and insane).
I will say it seems like the common refrain of the debates not changing any minds seems to hold true for this one at least.

I keep thinking of Rocky 1 and 2. At the end of 1, technically they called it for Apollo, but Apollo didn't believe it. They had a rematch in 2 and Rocky floored his ass. That's what I'm seeing.
Kamala and her team thought this would be the end of cheeto Hitler, 3v1, their own Biden debate moment. Instead Trump held his ground. They are terrified. Angry even. That debate was NOT supposed to end in a draw or a technical victory, but a OVERWHELMING one. They had all the advantages, hell I'll go so far as to say Trump fucked up a few times, but they couldn't knock him down. That does not bode well come November.

It's missing the forest for the trees to begin with. The government shouldn't be flying in foreign nationals by the tens of thousands. NGOs shouldn't be allowed to do it. The locals should have some say in this, and moreover the fucking niggercattle who want to um ackshually this should be forced to move in with their subhuman pet apes.
All of this shit is missing the point. to be fair, i think there's at least a 75% chance he sexually molested his daughter so it's not really surprising to me that nobody truly cares about him and i don't really feel sorry for any abuse he's suffering (other than the fact that it's affecting the country in general) i'm just surprised they're allowing stuff like this to happen because it's terrible optics for the dems. you'd think they'd just flip the locks on the master bedroom in the white house so he can't fuck anything up for them the last 3 months of the campaign.

IDK why people are saying Trump lost. It was very clear he held his own, and the way he berated the moderators made Kamala seem almost irrelevant.
Trump used the "I'm speaking' bit to her face, told her twice (IIRC) to shut up and let him talk, always got the rebuttal period from the mods even though they tried to move on; he came across as strong and able to take control. Kamala only got smirks and guffaws on the sidelines, and had to stop herself from calling Trump an asshole or something. She came off as being at the complete mercy of what Trump or the moderators wanted; limp-wristed and not very 'brat'.
Sure, Trump rambled and dodged some questions, and that JD Vance-abortion thing was painful, but ultimately his answers were in line with his policies. With Kamala, it seemed like half the time she would finally confirm something about her running policy, that would lose her voters - her Israel stance, the Ukraine war situation, etc. She was forced to take a side on shit she was playing coy on so voters would give her the benefit of a doubt.

It's not that the Dems haven't figured out meme culture. It's that they literally cannot do meme culture.
Memes are inherently similar to political cartoons. They require an acceptance of some form of underlying reality, pointing out something with it, and then stepping back and letting you come to a conclusion.
But that's not how leftist politics and culture works. They have to guide you to a very specific conclusion, often one that defies the most obvious one. They can't risk having you come to the wrong one, they can't risk losing ideological hegemony over the audience.
So they can't meme. Inherently can't meme. It's why their memes explode into paragraphs of text. Because they can only do two things -- lefty paragraph memes, and lefty political cartoons, where instead of a paragraph of text they use artistic tells to do something similar, leading you to a specific emotional and pseudological conclusion.
It's why they haven't reacted to meme culture other than to try and subvert / oppress / shadowban it. Because they can't do anything else.

The establishment uses memes in the Dawkins* sense of the term. The reason memes in the Internet slang usage of the term are beyond them is that levity and brevity both are anathema to bullshit.

In other news, the left is coming for the auto industry in the US. Again.
Remember how Obama changed the regulations such that it was literally impossible to make and sell small trucks for profit? And the idea was the auto makers would just eat shit for the cause, but instead they just sized up the trucks to avoid the regulations? Yeah they weren't supposed to do that, which resulted in much bitching and moaning from the clique who can't imagine anyone not living in a city with less than 250,000 people in it.
But they can't muck with the environmental rules to chase the trucks off the market, that would be admitting the Half Black King got something wrong, after all. So they're now going after them another way. After all, big trucks are scary, so they have to go! No one needs a fully loading assault truck, after all.

I read one suggestion that they're doing it to intimidate and flex on the locals. Town of 50,000 suddenly getting 20,000 illegals? 40% of the town's population as new people from another country? That's not a migration, that's an occupying foreign force.
Plus, well, they're Haitians. They're average IQ is probably in the low 60s range. Do they understand the concept of a grocery store?
