You know, I thought about it and Windsor has way more chemistry with the Wogglebug than the princess does. They start off as love rivals with completely opposite ideals- one wants war, the other- diplomacy and they'll go out of their way to get what they want. They share several fierce moments of passionate discourse, while Wogglebug and Wagneria just agree with each other like robots with zero spark.
They're even the same species, so it's not disgusting!

Funny thing is, it wouldn't be so difficult to fix it into a cohesive story. Here's what I would do:
Opening is fine, sets the theme and goals.
Wagneria and Woggy in the garden - to the trashcan.
Woggy arrives to the Insect Kingdom and encounters royal family. He's treated with respect as the royal advisor of Genoma and they take him on a tour - tour scene and exposition from the script (minus spider and butterfly scene because value of inaction isn't a theme here).
Windsor appears.
KING
Look, Wagneria! It's your fiance Windsor!
WAGNERIA
My dear Windsor! I...
WINDSOR interrupting her
My royal highness, ambassador from the Arachnid Republic demands an audience.
KING
My, my, this can't be good... Let's see what he wants. Mr. Wogglebug, it's a difficult situation, Insect Kingdom is on the verge of war with Arachnid Republic, our antagonisms are older than anybody remembers. Would you, as a renowned diplomat, accompany me to the meeting?
WOGGLEBUG
It would be my honor!
Meeting from the script but changed: King is more passive, Wagneria pushes for peace, Woggy supports Wagneria, Windsor tries to antagonize the ambassador. In the end Windsor is successful and the ambassador leaves the meeting offended.
Wagneria and Windsor have an argument.
Wagneria and Woggy go to the library to research history of antagonisms between Insects and Arachnids.
Woggy finds a reference to ancient Insect Empire.
Wagneria tells Woggy a legend of Lost City of Insects and its probable location.
Woggy and Wagneria decide to go on an expedition to find it, hoping that wisdom of the ancients will help them to avoid the war.
Woggy and Wagneria are in a jungle, talking by a fire. They bond, parts of garden dialog can be used (minus Woggy being a creep).
The next day they encounter the cicada archaeologist from the script. The archaeologists takes them to a cave with some sort of Indiana Jones-style puzzle.
Using their combined intellects they solve the puzzle. Trapdoor in the floor opens, Woggy and Wagneria fall down.
Wagneria lands on Woggy, their faces right next to each other. They awkwardly jump away from each other, not admitting that they both enjoyed it.
They realize that they are in the Lost City. On the walls they find paintings of Insects and Arachnids living, working and prospering together in this ancient Arthropod Empire.
They rush back to Insect Kingdom and tell the King and the Ambassador about their discoveries. Windsor once again tries to antagonize the Ambassador but is unsuccessful. King and Ambassador decide to give peace, unity and cooperation a chance. They share a tense handshake and slowly, as the tension lifts, begin to laugh and hug.
Windsor is angry.
WINDSOR

WAGNERIA
You will not be the king, Windsor. I have learned a lot about you over those last few days. I have also learned a lot about myself.

I saw what a mess the script was and I left the task of commenting to people more knowledgeable than me.
I've mulled over the idea of a Wogglebug "choose your own adventure" game in RenPy at various points in the past year (first in a post-apocalyptic Genoma, then Noir Genoma...). I think we now have enough lore pieces to craft a true and honest original story, with enough ramifications to be re-playable.

A shitty writer can do all those things.
When people say AI can write at a level indistinguishable from a person or even better than some people, this is what they mean. It can write like a very poor writer. Or if you're very lucky, a middling writer.
Plenty of people write worse than AI, just like plenty of people draw worse than AI lol.
A trait among writers like Cherie and Chris Chan- I don't want want say all autistic writers, because it's not true. But a common trait of many autistic writers is their lack of theory of mind will shine through. They are incapable of reading their work from the POV of someone else. So they can't read back and think "is it clear what's going on?"
Cherie knew what she meant. She knew what she was picturing. She isn't able to see a different reader's perspective.
That's why even when she takes feedback for her animations or stories, her changes don't really fix anything. (Like the mermaids exposed tits, or the little girl's skirt flipping up.) She doesn't see the problem, and she doesn't get it when people don't agree with her takes.

Lol it looks like Cynthia as a dwarf slapping a much prettier (and more anatomically correct) girl, which honestly checks the fuck out as far as weird self-insert fujoshi fanfiction shit goes. Literally the old school bad fanfiction trope of a self-insert injuring or killing the main female character because she gets in the way of your ship with your favorite character (or, in this case, rightfully calls him out on being a snobby, insufferable little bitch). Cynthia should just admit that she wants to sneezefuck the Wogglebug already.

Do we still have spies on Discord? Either she's off her meds again (like that time when she lost the original Woggy VA) or some gayop is happening. I think this is the first time she used obscene language on her social media.
