Christian theology thread for Christians - Deus homo factus est naturam erante, mundus renovatus est a Christo regnante

KF is almost certainly not a place that honors Christ
Yes and no.

No, because gossip and scandal aren't good but we are human and prone to such things.

Yes, because KF does honor truth and free will. Most alternatives compromise on truth through censorship and thus detract from free will.

Like most things its not cut and dry simple.

Christ teaches us to love our enemies.
Amen to that, and your new PFP completely threw me off.

You’re an educated man, how do I release that resentment and hatred and anger towards those who exiled me because I came back to Christ?
It hurts to be honest, how could they do that to me?

What books or verses would you say are helpful?
I know we need to forgive and love our enemies, but betrayal stings and it’s not good for the spirit.

You flatter me, but thanks only to God's grace I happen to have an answer.

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake

Matthew 10:22 And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake: but he that shall persevere unto the end, he shall be saved.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you.

Luke 6:22 Blessed shall you be when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Luke 21:17 And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake.

Praise be unto the Lord for I am blessed that those of the world hate me.

If God can forgive you, you can forgive yourself too. I was in a similar spot to you and you just need to learn to love yourself as God loves you. The little negative voice that says you are not worthy is not there to make you righteous, it's there to set you up for failure. Tune that voice out.
Thanks, this is arguably the hardest thing for me to learn. I'm very, very harsh on myself and always have been, but even in-spite of that I constantly find myself slipping and falling and tumbling back down to the bottom of the mountain.

Admittedly it's only been a year of the Lord working on a problem I've had for more than 14 years, but at the same time, it's been a year and I'm still just as succeptible as I was at the start. All I've learned is that the only way I can guarantee being able to endure is by completely abandoning the internet outside of work, and that's even harder for me to do without the excuse of a holiday.

I hate trannies and other kinds of deviants and admittedly select nationalities though, and hating isn’t good or Christian.
Like really, really hate trannies.
I don’t want them to die but I laugh when they experience misfortunes.

As a woman in the church we’re not talking about moral decay most of the time, we’re talking about harvest parties and chapel and youth group events and extracurriculars.
There’s no way to vent it and I’m no longer classed as a TERF because I’m no longer a feminist, that wouldn’t work either.
I understand your feelings. I think it speaks more to the state of the men in The Church then anything else. The leaders in The Church stood by and with little resistance allowed our culture and nations to become Sodom and Gomorrah. It should not be on the women of the Church it is the men's responsibility stand firm and preach the Gospel to a lost world. Women's God given responsibility is to raise Children to the LORD and to be examples for younger women who are easily mislead. Be a faithful wife to a godly man and raise children who will love the LORD. Teach you sons to keep the faith without fear of men and proclaim the Gospel to the lost and raise your daughters to be godly wives who will help their husbands do the same. Finally pray for those who are lost and heap coals on them through your righteous deeds. We were all once lost and no sinner is to far gone that The LORD cannot save them.

We all struggle Brother but The Lord has not called you to condemnation but to peace. Trust in Him to see you through. The LORD is not harsh on you but loves the ones He has called so to should you Brother. Forgive yourself and place your burdens on Jesus for He said

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
— Matthew 11:28-30

When are prone to wonder and to walk away and fail but He is sure to keep us for the Scripture states

"For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus."
— Philippians 1:6

Trust in Him who loves you and I will pray for you as well Brother.

May the LORD bless you.

What does everyone else think?
KF can be a great mirror for lolcows to see their mistakes and change.

I've seen KFers give good advice or assistance to lolcows, like Rubin Sim extending an olive branch to furries and asking they'll change.

Yet, to be a lolcow inherently includes being unwilling to surrender, and many fall deeper into their pits out of spite.

They're all tragic examples that vindicate Ecclesiastes, either by pursuing riches (WWE gacha, GRS), or earthly wisdom (Destiny, Tate, Fuentes). None stand the rot of time, and we pray they see God throughout their drunken stupor.

Iron sharpens iron, and KF is almost certainly not a place that honors Christ, but I can’t shake it.
There’s a lot of things on here that are diametrically opposed to living by the Bible, they’re sins to partake in.
Iron sharpens iron in my actual life, but this is a place to vent because still only human.

The only thing I can think of is we’re all still sinners, and I’m not using this site to say things that are against Him.
Maybe hateful and bigoted sometimes which are sins, but I’m flawed.

What does everyone else think?
The LORD can make a straight line with a crooked stick. The KF is if anything a way to show people their faults and to hold there feet to the fire so to speak. Most on this site just wish to mock and laugh at others to make up for there own issues. I believe however that the opportunity to minister to the lost is always available. We pray for the lolcows to submit to The LORD Jesus Christ and be born again. There is also the lost people who use this site and LORD willing we can take the opportunity when it shows itself to speak to them of The Gospel and their need to repent and turn to the LORD.

During prayer I came to the realization that Kiwi Farms is not a good place to hang out on as a Christian. It tends to breed negativity in your heart, even if you refrain from participating. There are some positive aspects, but overall it's draining to be on here.

That being said I do spend way to much time here, it's one of the things I'm working on.

This might sound a bit off the cuff, but it's important to ask yourself where this realization comes from.

A lot of us would like to think a realization like that would come from our Lord and Saviour. The sad thing is that 90% of the thoughts or visions you have, whether good or bad, are nothing more than arrows sent by the devil to distract us from prayer and lead us into a real mess. If, after having this realization, you were pulled out of very focused prayer, then the thought was not of God.

If the thought made you want to cut your prayer short or that you didn't want to pray anymore, then you need to examine the condition of your heart; did it feel noticeably softer? Can you say you experienced undeniable Grace? If not, then once again, the thought was likely not of God.

There's a reason why St. John of the Ladder places discernment (the ability to know when something is of God or of the Devil) as the highest rung on the Ladder of Divine Ascent.

Stay vigilant, and watch out for Logismoi.

That is understandable, there are definitely parts which can be morally dubious at best, it's just knowing how to use it in a Christian manner, for example I don't post on the lolcow threads as I feel it is partaking in gossip, and would break the golden rule. with that said I still find this site (the rest of the site that is) to be a great place to post things without fear of censorship and have open discussions. Perhaps the best thing for you to do is make sure you use the site in a manner you would be willing to answer for to God one day.

Ye shall know them by their fruits.

If the fruits of this site for you are sickly, then yes, you should move on. The worst part about this site to me is how many people are absolutely and unequivocally of their father the devil, but this is true across the Internet these days. In the right places, there is a lot of thoughtful and educated discussion going on here. On the other hand, say things in a way someone dislikes, and there are spirits of antichrist that emerge to tell you off...

A whip for the horse,
A bridle for the donkey,
And a rod for the fool’s back.
Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
Lest you also be like him.
Answer a fool according to his folly,
Lest he be wise in his own eyes.

Don’t kid or dilute yourself. How many verses talk about idle-talk and gossip? This ain’t a Christian place, and you shouldn’t be here.
Hard disagree.

1 Thessalonians 2:14-16 - Authorized Version said:
For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

The number of places online where you can freely discuss the Jewish identity being spoken of in this verse is very small. God bless Null for enabling this.

Jesus Christ will make the final call, but as far as I can be certain, visiting this place is not necessarily a sin. Like even eating, though, the measure of the sin is in its fruit. Especially as regards troons, this website is a potent remedy to troonism by promoting awareness as to how troonism looks in reality.

Your username is “analrapist” bro

Judge ye the message for the messenger?
When his name is “analrapist” yeah. This place is temporary, transient. Recognize that, and be ready to move on. It’s not a place you really should be hanging in. Christ did not go to the sinners to become a sinner, but to take their sin away and set them right. We’re not going to do that here. We’re just sinners stuck to our sinful ways.

When his name is “analrapist”
With the gloss explained as "analyst/therapist" by my forum title, it's a vaguely ironic reference to Arrested Development. This miscommunication is the joke exactly.

This site is full of Anonymous folk who have fun with their identity like this. It's not necessarily a sin either. Again, we'll bring it up at His throne, if your faith is true, so don't worry about it.

Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
