Upper Echelon's descent into lunacy continues. This time, he compares Grummz to Zoey Quinn in terms of behaviour. The comments' section is predictably filled with things like 'funny, I'm not sure when Grummz manipulated and emotionally blackmailed a man into killing himself or appeared at the UN to say all gamers are evil and should be censored'. He took this very well;

"both sides le bad" fags are so annoying, they think they're above it all just because they dislike both the SJWs and the chuds, but they still like to play in the mudpile as much as the most politics-brainrotted SJWs or chuds. These fags act so surprised when they attract a mainly right-wing audience and they don't realize that the right are the only people even willing to listen to them because they can actually tolerate people with different political opinions unlike the left.

Fuck man, this guy too? I've watched a bit of his stuff on games I was interested in and thought it was pretty good. Fuck me I guess... but yea, once someone makes the "BOTH SIDES BAD" post, they're basically done. Nothing but a continuous slide downward as they go more and more against their fanbase.

Post's like the one he made basically just come across as screaming "BOTH SIDES OF THE CULTURE WAR ARE BAD AND THAT'S WHY I'M VOTING FOR KAMALA HARRIS". They're only ever made by people who think being a moderate is being pro-troon, LGBT, DEI, but also being able to disagree with insane commies, and in their mind the far right is everybody who disagrees with them.

Very convenient that these people always gravitate to the left and more socially acceptable brand of politics.

In a just world, YouTube would have an equivalent to Twitter/X "Community Notes" -system, and place a message along those lines on Upper Echelon's video.

Wendigoon is a very poor judge of character. That’s enough to bring down people. For one, he does a show with Meat Canyon, who has a history of joining the cancel culture campaign against other youtubers like Jontron. During the drama, in praise of shadows started a lot of analog horror community people who owe their popularity to, Wendigoon threw him under the bus or refused to defend him like Alex Kister of the Mandela catalogue fame. Irony is Urbanspooks defended wendigoon more than the analog horror community, and he gave the painter killer series a bad review.

IIRC he made a Doom Eternal video where he complained about the ammo count and that the chainsaw was the only option to get ammo except from the ammo pickups around the stage.

I actually liked cartoonshi's humor and his content was decent enough for me to watch. Only watched for like 2 weeks before jumping ship when I saw the first red flag. Which was Harley TBS randomly showing up in his video's to make some cringe joke

AKA, pulling a ShortFatOtaku.

Grummz and Quinn are both major league grifters. It's just despite having done way more damage in general, Quinn's presence has mostly vanished by now (there are culture warriors who don't know her name, or Sarkeesian's for that matter), but Grummz is still hard at work on twitter, doing his grift and refusing to finish his game. He's way more visible now, which makes anyone who's not operating from a long-term point of view think he's more important than he actually is.
