How would you even make a documentary about detractors? They're mostly anonymous and the only content they put on the internet is making fun of dsp. Even if you wanted to do a documentary about say memology, xmortis or PoP or whoever else, what could you really say about them besides they make content about dsp?

You would have to dox them and track down personal info on your own somehow, it isn't just readily available on the internet already.

Even the SoK, a more tangible subject, would make for a nothing burger documentary. No body is going to give a fuck that they dahx'd or threatened to swaht Pandas brothers wedding. Fuck me he made a video when he got his XBox Account back and he drove from work to hios condo to make this video and to verify him for the account restoration. He could not wait for work to finish noooo Sir. he had to go home immediately to get it back and make an Internet video to boot

Well I think the only thing worse than glazing with Keem is bored to tears with Phil Fallon. Phail trying to be a weasel and say "a lot of people in my community were nitpicking some stuff". Nah bitch, that was all you, spending 20 minutes on a 2 minute throwaway segment. You also tried to debunk the bank leaks, convenient how you didn't even bother bringing that up again.

To my knowledge, DSP didn't even mention on his various shows that they could contact Craig so their questions could be answered.

The Craig interview was 100% for Phil to get a "sorry" out of him, and nothing else. Phil took Keem's idea of reaching out to people you have beef with as "reach out to people and make them apologize". Why, well because Phil has an apology fetish and anybody who doesn't satiate it is dead to him.

In fairness to Phail, he did have a community thread and did read questions literally word for word from there, but he read the ones that were definitely of the "DSPGaming's dent trying to make DSP happy" slant. I knew he'd ask the question about why didn't you distrust detractors as much as you seemed to distrust DSP, because that was 100% something Phil wanted to ask.

He's a natural born entertainer. This would not have been entertaining at all but for him clowning on Craig for his (far lesser) technical difficulties.

Also fuck anyone who thinks he's not retarded. He does this when faced with any problem at all.

I would love for the many people who had the "Phil is smart just lazy" narrative to come back and admit that Phil is also a bumbling moron too. He got through grade school by being good at taking tests, before the gin took over. Just because he can form a sentence doesn't mean he's intelligent. And what makes it worse is he has no life experiences to use to form beliefs or thoughts or anything, and has spent the last 7 years ranting at a microphone without any direction.

Remember that he worked in customer fucking support. If there's ever more evidence that he only got that job (and kept it for as long as he did) because of nepotism, I'll be shocked. Heck Dave probably gave them the green light to can his ass.

DSP is so autistic and mal-adapted socially, that he can not tell when someone hates his guts if they are outwardly friendly. This has also been revealed in the KC arc, where he's shown to be completely immune to any kind of sneak dissing. He really doesn't get it.

I wonder, then, in the hypothetical situation that Dave had friends, if he would likewise completely miss friends giving each other shit, and think they're genuinely insulting each other. If a friend busted Phil's balls over being a wop greaseball goomba, or mocked his stupid laugh, or joked about how he D'VOURs, would Phil be genuinely assmad about it because he is incapable of understanding that poking fun at each other is part of what friends do?

Keep in mind, his dad was the manager/director of that department he worked in. No, I'm not joking. Phil was a customer support specialist, his dad was the Customer Support Manager/Director for the entire department. I'm willing to bet money, Dave made an excuse for his son and why he had to "go home early" before his scheduled shift ended. They most likely kept Phil at his role taking phone orders, because his dad made excuses for him. Eventually, that came to bite him in his ass, because Dave was eventually laid off from his role at Sikorsky - well, when After Market Support for helicopters - got bought out by it's parent company.

If my lore is correct, Dave was move to another department before Sikrosky came in and swallowed After Market Support, Phil applied for his dad's role and of course didn't get it, and a few months later, he was fired. My favorite part of that story was he got the call to come into HR after his shift and was lead out by security. Also, he called HR and asked if he could come in and get his stuff, they told him "We'll mail it to you." Also, he tried to talk to his dad about fighting for him to keep his job, his dad told him "Sorry, there's nothing I can do."

Also, the ACE Certification thing that Phil used to tout around, well....guess who was the ACE instructor? Dave Burnell. No, I'm not joking. Dave wore many hats during his time at After Market Support for Helicopters, including doing ACE Certification training for his Customer Support agents, along with measuring metrics, tracking quality assurance, after hire continuous training, etc...Phil got that job because of his father, not because of Phil's "work ethic". What Phil calls "hard work", I call that a lazy Sunday.

That said, I'm willing to bet money he cost his dad his relationship at Sikorsky, especially how they were sick and tired of him constantly sticking up for Phil, defending his poor quality of work, his attitude, etc...to the point where they had to lay him off. It wouldn't be the first time Phil has gotten someone fired - looking at you, John Rambo and Gamestop.
