That's sad that the silent majority of his audience comes to him for hates only. I think his recent vids don't do so well is because, other than being shadow banned is that most of them aren't interesting. No one gave shit/even heard of flintlock, borderlands movie isn't popular and his synopsis for movie review is on the same lazy cartoon reviewer tier, starwar outlaw honestly is too long, not a good stream highlights to be honest (his suicide squad kills JL at least has commentary to explain wtf is happening), and no one actually care about Wukong's gameplay, they only wanted to hear the politics (which is sad).

The worst thing is that Astro Bot isn't even in the thumbnail!!! Astro Bot >>> Diverse Marine 2. Synth has build this fanbase of people (v users) who don't really care about positive videos anymore, and small amounts of older fans had enough of his constant black pilled whining. I'm the one of few fans that actually miss the times when he would make "top 10 underrated 3D platformer" instead of battlefield.

He might cope saying, I'm doing this for the views. But if most of the modern slop vids don't get that much views anyway, why not put out something that's actually good like a retro review or a top 10 vids or even that "why evil choice is good in games" . Or if you really wants to milk views, stop wasting time streaming slop games all the way through, like there's no reason to suffer through the entire slopwar outlaw. play for like couple hours, watch rest of the cutscenes, and shit out a quick highlights for easy views instead of wasting everyone's time.

Synth's main problem is that he made his core audience a bunch of /v/irgins. 4/v/ is the most retarded community in all of gaming and their takes should never be taken seriously, depending on them for views gets you in this exact situation.

Synth should either become a retro review channel showing underrated or forgotten gems while doing a review of the modern day slop and occasional good game once in a while, or become a video essay channel where he talks about why gaming has fallen. The current format isn't pleasing anybody right now, I don't think it's even entertaining for him.

So guys, I have found the ''synth goon webm'' that /v/ like to post whenever there's thread on synth. I don't think it's synth, but multiple ppl did bring it up on stream. So can y'all confirm the source of this gooner? That way we can debunk the fags who tries to use this aganist synth.

I will say this here since Synths comments on the recent video are just arguing if the game is woke or not, Warhammer 40,000 is currently going through a really dumb fandom war of tourism, grifters, and whatever the fuck else think of it like one of those African Civil Wars the CIA and various outside sources are involved. Is it woke? Is it based? Is it bad? Why of all franchises is this the one being argued so much over? Games Workshop dug themselves into a hole. The origins of 40k seem to have started out as parody, then it became serious, and GW obviously wants to just sell Space Marines/Humans as the super duper good guys at the end of the day. However, they are now starting to get cold feet since it seems the online community around 40k has made them come out and say "Okay guys wait a minute the imperium is actually evil"

They had an official post about how we shouldn't like the imperium and and blah blah blah and I swear to god their next major model releases that year were

>Space marines called Black Templars that are the actual crazy religious psychos of marines full of knight and Christian imagery
>Death Korps of Kreig the certified CHUD regiment for many people online
>Special Operation "Kommando" Orks whose origins come from aping WW2 German discipline and style

I think everyone is at fault here people who take Warhammer too seriously, people who want warhammer changed because the its the chuds go to scifi, people who simp for the Imperium way too hard, and GW for constantly trying to pull "its a parody" card when that hasn't been the case since the 90s. Its overall a mess and the suggestion is to just ignore "nu lore" when some of the writers behind the gay changes have been there since the 90s themselves. I wanna say a lot of the GW CEO guys could careless there is even a story where apparently female custodes was meant to happen years ago but a writer was flat out told he CANT do it from someone way high up.

The basic gist of it is really "all factions are evil, just pick one you want to play". It's still a tabletop game and GW wants you to buy their figurines.

The main idea behind warhammer 40k was grimdark, a future when humanity lives in a sci-fi dark age where war is constant and most people live in 1800s industrial city living conditions. As such the Imperium was written to be "the most evil good guys"; they are overtly religiously zealous (in a way that doesn't even make sense because the Emperor they worship denied his divinity himself), they slaughter their own civilians en masse, they commit abhorrent war crimes and they genocide any alien race they encounter. Problem is at the end of the day they were the good guys, everything evil they did was either portrayed as a necessary evil or a result of humanity's very tumultuous history. Then they started to tone down the grimdark stuff a bit when 40k lore expanded beyond just being a background for a tabletop game and the suspension of disbelief increased. Then they went even further and actually played into the religious stuff, making things like imperial saints and even floating the possibility of the Emperor actually being a god after all. So after all the Imperium may have be awful, but it is awful in order to survive in a galaxy as horrible and violent as that of 40k. Obviously this creates a very chuddy message, borderline fascistic even (of course fascistic by the modern meaning of that word), which is pretty based and is one of the reasons why I like the franchise, even though a lot of stupid neckbeards will say that 40k is "woke" or "atheist" because the emperor hated religion or whatever. However for GW this obviously creates a massive problem in the modern day and age, so now on one hand they are trying to say that the imperium is "muh evil" and you shouldn't idolize it, but on the other they are introducing shit like female custodes or greater ethnic diversity amongst space marines. They really did corner themselves in this situation because they need to have the imperium as the protagonists but at the same time to keep the appeal of the franchise they have to keep it edgy and grimdark at least somewhat. They can't even write shit like the Emperor returning an waging war on the ecclesiarchy because there are imperial saints now.

Synth's issue is that he's nakedly trend chasing and he has no real passion for it, and it doesn't help that he has the most ESL taste in games I've ever seen save the obsession with FEEFUH, he really needs to play something actually good for a change and perhaps spin it into some kind of doomer rant about how bad games are nowadays. Also Space Marine 2 looks like a worse game than 1 despite the 10 or so years between iterations, I swear down that the Ork Nobs weren't as frustrating beefy as the 'Nids are in that.

The seethe continues even though the video didn't crack a view mark. It's obvious he was jokingly questioned a narrative that many corpos do and asked wheather the diversity is even necessary and feels a bit forced. Calling him a "tourist" when he clearly states he ain't a fan.
