The Elder Scrolls

Sounds about right, if something is good enough it's easier to just ignore the mod author's spergery and still use it. In fact some mod authors seeth at the thought of someone they don't like using their mod, reminds me of Apollodown. THAT fucker's spergery is legendary.
The thing is sometimes you can't ignore these faggots, when they get enough of an ego they'll start trying to throw their weight around, this will usually be a minor nuisance but it starts getting really annoying when they do things like taking down mods in a tard fit over some stupid shit that only matters to them or is complete irrelevant to Skyrim modding (like that one guy who had a meltdown after Trump won in 2016 and DFE'd *edit: lmao just realized this was actually Apollodown) and if they have enough of a foothold via a really big mod it can quickly become a headache for everyone, like the time the FNIS guy decided he hated modpacks and turned FNIS into fucking spyware that scanned your computer in search of some modpack software and then bitched at you and refused to work if it detected it (iirc this happened even if you were using the modpack program for games that weren't Skyrim), fortunately FNIS has long since been made obsolete by the likes of Nemesis and Pandora but there's still no alternative to that colossal bitch Arthmoor and USSEP is pretty much a requirement since a metric fuckton of mods depend on it.

BS: Bruma was finished in 2017 with a few updates here and there. Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodil is maybe 60% down with most of the cities complete except for the Imperial City which they haven't worked on at all. When Skyblivion comes out next year they'll probably rush to get BS: Cyrodil out ASAP and it'll be a buggy mess.
thats the tragic part, the modders usually make their shit even slower then Bethesda does, which I mean if your not getting a paycheck for it I get it, but damn I wish there were modern verisons of Morrowind and to a lesser extent Oblivion, id love to explore shit like Black Marsh or Elsweyr too, ESO doesnt count because it fucking sucks, but its tragic because they will probably never make a singleplayer game(s) with it all being explorable

Part of me is naively hopeful that the woke wave will have broken and begun receding by the time they actually work on it. But they'll fuck it up either way.
Preproduction has been going on for a year so there's no hope. By the time it comes out people will be so tired of this woke shit that it won't sell well past the first week.

As I mentioned a while ago, Arthmoor is the perfect example of that. He went after mods that even remotely did the same thing as his mods or even mods that tweaked his mod but still required it (most famous examples were the original RUASLEEP and Purist's Vanilla Patch, only one of which still remains on Nexus). He even somehow had the ears of whoever manages Beth.net (I meant like a community manager or something) to crack down on any mod that did anything similar to his aging golden goose, consolefags be damned. Even when he """"left""""" Nexus due to their """"poor changes"""" (Nexus is run by faggots but the one time they do something good mod authors get pissy and leave...only for many come back later) he still had Nexus staff hunt down certain mods.

Lol I never heard of this. Then again I never really did modpack stuff at the time for anything other than Minecraft and even then I usually made some of them myself so I guess I missed it. I was also away from my PC for weeks at a time due to life so that also helps.

Yeah, it sucks. 99% of those mods that "require" USLEEP or USSEP don't need them. I've actively edited all the mods in my mod lists over the years that require it to no longer require it and it was like, bare minimum effort. I got each mod done in 30+ seconds. Thankfully most of the mods I had in my old mod lists didn't need it to begin with. I had RUASLEEP and Purity's Vanilla Patch as a replacer and it was much better.
I heard that Elder Scrolls Online went woke with a female elf claiming to be "non binary".
That clickbait, good lord. I know they're grifters and they need to do that but kek.
They're going to put troons in TES:VI, aren't they?
Pretty sure there's been troon characters in ESO for years now.
Behold the pain.
ESVI Hammerfell is going to be nothing but nogs and troons
Redguards are going to be the African-American nignogs of Tamriel when Bethesda is done with them. I can see all their hair being the usual afros, cornrolls, zoomer hair, dreads, or bald, nothing else. Wait until they get to the Yokudans...

They just...kept rolling off the ledge. And I mean these fuckers borderline flew off the ledge, the dodge mod I have combined with momentum changes I have has them just yeeting themselves. They can't turn on a dime or some shit that prevents them from stopping completely when they near the edge, and for whatever reason they just roll instead and off they go.
