The only nukes I feel like the US has in any sort of workable conditions are the submarine based ones. and those are some bad boys.

Yeah those are running with some new warheads but old propulsion tech. Everything is modular. There’s still some risk with that though.

Yeah but shitting on Russia implies also shitting on Ukraine. From the American perspective, there's no difference.

The Democrats aren't shitting on Russia now because they hate communism; quite the opposite. They're doing it because Ukraine was supposed to be a Western-friendly buffer state, complete with kickbacks to the Biden family, and Russia ruined it, on Obama's watch. That snowballed into a face-saving alliance under Biden, because the regional dispute suddenly made NATO look weak. And if US+Europe can't project the image of military supremacy, the entire neoliberal world order falls apart.

There's also the 2016 cope that "the only way Trump could have won was through cheating, so it must be Russian interference!" That provides the emotional hatred, but it's neocons and globalists driving the foreign policy decisions.

Feds must be activating. Do we have proof of life of Null? He’s never announced what mechanisms he has in place to prevent some fed hijacking his account and disrupting our comfy times. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the warheads themselves have been upkept. This was actually a thing. The US government forgot how to make an aerogel interstage material and spent a ton of money in the 2000's to reverse engineer it. This was a result of US classification systems working to a point of backfire: everyone who knew how the warheads worked died off and the Department of Energy hid the information so well that, when the original engineers died, the US no longer knew how to build the warheads.

I know for a fact that the US employs aerogel engineers now for this very reason. A lot of them work in Ohio.

Fun fact: if you want to hide something, you classify it in the Department of Energy. Very few leaks come out of there for a reason. That's where all the juicy US secrets are, not the Department of Defense and sure as shit not the Department of State.
