The basic description:
This AU takes place in an alternate reality from "Klonoa: Door To Phantomile", where Klonoa was not taken from Huepow's reality (Phantomile) at the end of the game. They're still best friends and just go on adventures together for fun now, living their daily lives as they did before in Klonoa's false memories.
Also Grandpa never got killed by Joka in this AU. He just beat grandpa up to take the pendant and ran away. So Klonoa and Huepow still live in his house. Huepow's family calls him home every now and then for visits but he mostly stays with Klonoa and Grandpa.

A deeper look:
In the events of the original game, Huepow may have been using Klonoa for his own means throughout the events of Door To Phantomile, but Klonoa always saw him as his best friend and by the end of the game Huepow is crying and grabbing onto his hand to keep him from flying away, which proves Huepow had come to view him as a great friend along their journey as well. Basically cementing the idea that, even though Klonoa's memories of their friendship were fake originally, they still loved and cared for each other as best friends by the end. So my AU is a chance for them to further explore that relationship...… except through fetish porn lmao.
I make this art, not JUST as fetish porn, but also to bring light to a friendship that was cut to short in the original game series. It's really sad how they were ripped apart forever at the end, so this art serves as a sort of continuation to their story together, as if that sad separation at the end never happened in the first place.
The way I've written it in my mind, Huepow is pretty much in love with Klonoa. Due to their increased sexual activeness with each other over time, his feelings have grown for Klonoa accordingly. Although he doesn't really see that he loves him, since they're both simple minds and just know they like each other a whole lot. Huepow has never felt the need to put labels on it. To them they're just "the bestest of friends".

Klonoa and Huepow are best friends, and Klonoa wants to do whatever he can to make his friend happy. However Huepow has some pretty weird ideas about what he thinks is fun. Most of the time, when he's just lazing around the house not particularly doing anything important, Klonoa tends to have his socks and shoes off.
