"Have we actually seen that?" Yes.So am I correct to think that he's not "on the run," as has been said?
Josh said Austin has "a warrant out for his arrest." Have we actually seen that?
I haven't seen it.
This thread moves so fast I can't find much information, but from what I can gleam, if nothing else happens, Austin is a free man until at least October 17th.
Unless there's some smoking gun that he's wanted in the police station right this second, I think he's free.
"I haven't seen it" Okay?
"Unless there's some smoking gun... I think he's free" So you just don't have a clue how this works.
Exactly. He definitely has a warrant out. If he walked into a police station right now and said "put me in jail" they wouldnt tell him to "fuck off" and go home, he'd go to jail. If he got pulled over got uppity with the police and got his name run though the system, he'd go to jail. That being said his warrant is supposedly for bond violation and he has court in a month, so others have speculated theyre just gonna deal with it then. Which would make sense, the warrant isnt for him assalting someone or stealing anything, or anything violent so in their eyes theres no immediate threat of someone else being harmed. We (including the cops and prosecutor) all know what he's gonna do when he's not in jail, thats smoke crack and gamba in his room, so he's not a flight risk either, especially since he doesnt have a car.
All in all, I think we can expect about another months worth of Bossmantent before he goes in front of a judge and gets the book thrown at him.
Bossman has a bench warrant. He violated orders of the court. It's like some people think a warrant means you are literally The Fugitive.
Austin has a paid for laywer, comes from well off family, and isn't a problem for the community on an on going basis. He has scheduled probation officer visits that he attends, and it will be either here or a date set up by his lawyer for him to turn himself in.
