One Piece - I'm Gonna Be the Pirate King!

It is Oda. He planned it. At this point, if you have to ask that, he propably planned it. Do not underestimate him. Unless he has god-tier skill in resolving loose ends.
If that’s the case then here’s how things will go down:

-Elbaf is Amazon Lily which is just Luffy navigating a strange world, but now he has crewmates with him.

-Following that, we have a new Impel Down, in which we see the World Government going after somebody Luffy holds dear, with Vivi or Sabo assuming the role of Ace. I’d imagine Blackbeard will do the prison break and the whole meta is just everyone making their moves for One Piece and we get the final showdowns that’s been hyped up since East Blue (Luffy vs Shanks vs Blackbeard, or some combination of that, along with Zoro vs Mihawk). Finally, we get to Laugh Tale and the treasure is found by Luffy.

Which leads to…

The final war, which is just Marineford again. While Ace died at Marineford, instead Luffy will succeed in his endeavor this time around. And in place of Whitebeard’s speech and Sengoku going “This war is over!”, we instead get Luffy declaring himself Pirate King, maybe with a speech about how Imu and the Gorosei have no more power, the Celestial Dragons being stripped of their privileges, and then Luffy declares what his true dream is…and it turns out it’s what Joy Boy wanted to do, and we see Joy Boy as the pirate with the eye patch.

After that, instead of Luffy crying over being weak and Jinbe having to snap him back into reality everyone going off to train for the timeskip, we see all the Straw Hats enjoying their dreams being reality and everything that comes with it, along with Koby, Smoker, Tashigi, the 135th, Helmeppo, and all the other “good” Marines working to reform and restructure the Marines and the government. And the series ends with Luffy going off to pursue his true dream now that he’s Pirate King (unless you can think of another one. If anything, you can consider this a placeholder until the real thing comes to pass, because I’m willing to bet Oda changes things just when theorists crack the code or feel they’re about to because the universe likes to fuck with them.

I still don't buy that the Final War happens after Luffy claims the Treasure, like the Scramble for the last Island started. Buggy realized it before the Vegapunk Transmission and given that Vegapunk directly stated that The One Piece, The Poneglyphs and The Ancient weapons are connected he has been vindicated in telling Crocodile that he is a fucking cuck for going after Money and Power in a round about way when the Ultimate Treasure is waiting to be claimed.

Red Hair Pirates, Blackbeard Pirates, Cross Guild, Strawhats..all of them are going to converge at that one place.

Why would Imu sit back and allow someone to claim The One Piece?

And the series ends with Luffy going off to pursue his true dream now that he’s Pirate King
I don't think we are getting the series end without Luffy achiving his proper dream, If they hadn't made a big deal about him and Gol both having the same Dream I would say it is possible, but I think that Oda set up that Gol didn't actually achive the thing he wanted and Luffy will do it (and in doing so actually surpass the King of the Pirates)

Good theory but we do not know which elements will be introduced or return and in what form. As you said, Oda might change things (and it might be for the best).

@Incecticyder like I said, it’ll probably change, and a lot of the endgame I have in my mind is basically just placeholders so I don’t go crazy or try to go down the rabbit hole of making theories that probably won’t pan out.

Nobody said Imu would. If anything, One Piece may actually be the thing that forces Imu to not rely on the Gorosei and other lackeys/minions any further. For all we know, Imu can’t physically leave the castle because reasons.

Honestly, I’m just going by Whitebeard’s speech and trying to read between the lines.
And the only question is HOW they’re connected.

Probably, but that depends on what the dream actually is, and if it’s something vague, like “everyone has the same freedom as the Pirate King”, then we Probably get something like the last strip of Calvin and Hobbes. Or if it’s something tangible like “destroy the Red Line” to achieve something like “bring everyone under the same sun and the world is together”, then we see that, and maybe the epilogue I mentioned.

Either way, get ready for r/onepiece to eat it up and worship Oda like he’s Kim Jong Un, Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il, or L. Ron Hubbard, and for 4Chan and r/piratefolk to find something to bitch about (or perhaps even call Luffy ending the series as the One Piece equivalent of a “wage cuck”). Those things WILL happen.

Yes but if everyone is getting in on the final Scramble, then Luffy will have effectively already won by the time he claims the final Island.

Well it has to be something childish enough that a retarded 10 year old can think up...that a Lazy 40 Year old Man will also just dump on his Rival for the lulz.

And they will both be correct, It will be the dumbest fucking thing to ever happen in Fiction..and that will make it the best thing ever.

Just like Gear 5.

It is normal that one has those ideas experience growth inside of us. Nothing inheritably wrong with it. What I am saying is not that we should be ready for the story to change further than we are expecting or even further than we are comfortable. Example: Everyone knew that Gear 5 would be a thing but when it turned out to be COMPLETELY different to everyone 's expectations, people had a problem. Feats were thrown before everyone calmed down and let it settle. That is what I mean. It is very human to be confused and upset when things do not go our way by a mile. I am just saying that in the end, we all are like that.

I don't mean to politisperg like I used to here but everytime I hear “bring everyone under the same sun and the world is together” my political brain interprets it as some sort of multiracial borderless globalism. I am probably being wrong considering that one big supercontinet that many have theorized foes not negate kingdoms and national determination.

Eh, One Piece isn’t that kind of world. There is racism, but it’s not something that you can say is a 1:1 comparison to our world IMO.

Also, the only thing about “nations” is more in the sense of countries being subservient to the World Government (along with Celestial Dragons doing whatever they want because birthright) vs pirates and anybody else who refuses to go with the status quo.

I thought it’s been established that you can only “win” when you’re on the island and laughing like Roger did, at minimum.

Besides, I think it’s pretty clear at this point this whole “scramble” thing is in order to just get the final showdowns with Zoro and Mihawk along with Luffy vs Blackbeard and vs Shanks settled before the final war (along with backstories for those respective opponents).

And what might that be?

One Piece sympathises with reasonable freedom seekers, good people in power, good queers and is more than willing to acknowledge that both sides can be both wrong and right at the same time. Leftists see what they want to see. Right wing extremists are the same.
The left view is the most adopted I see on the internet. People who argue against it get hung.

The idea that it is 1:1 comparable is how Arthur/Library of Ohara percieves it. He thinks that The entuire story of one peice is that of racial segregation and we must all live together. I do agree with you as if for example, in real life it was 100% that multiculturalism is a failure, it doesn't mean that a fictional fantasy world like one Piece must follow.

I have unfortunitely noticed the same thing with other media suich as The Simpsons. I remever reading an academic whine about the fact that some conservative's interpetation of The Simpsons doesn't follow academic deconstructions of sex and gender.

It's more-or-less that all racial segregation is due to the World Government enforcing that throughout the centuries. They run the slave trade and shit, and they put fear into people's minds about how super scary and primitive other species are like Fish-Men and Giants. It sounds like before the World Government was founded, races weren't hating or fearing each other and sometimes mingled. If Oda's hinting at anything involving that, it's that all of our problems can be traced back to the government being power-hungry pricks, which is based as fuck.

Which, funnily enough, is enough to get 4Chan on board with this manga.

Calling it, all this segregation started as a way to keep the fish people safe for 800 years time and 800 years of that being the case led to all the racism. And Imu is Imu and has bigger shit to worry about.

Speaking of the fish people, what if it was Saturn messing with the robot that woke it up and got it to attack the holy land? Hence why he is then ordered to scrap it?

We would've gotten that flashback of him dicking around with it before it moved. It only powers up to the sound of Joy Boy's heartbeat, so it's more likely Emeth was sent forward in time which would explain why it powered down before it could cause any damage. Saturn, not knowing what it is, felt it would make for good military upgrades and wanted scientists to study it for replication. That decision may have returned to bite him in the ass, but that was truly one of many little things that added up to the events of Egghead that no one could've foreseen coming. We don't know if Imu knew of Emeth, so either he figured that because no one's awakened the Fruit that it was out of sight out of mind, or he realized Saturn fucked up when he felt Joy Boy's haki and thought something else happened.

Which, if it's the latter, suggests that Luffy has another power up in the future.

Convinced it is the latter.
I’ve always just set it in my mind the One Piece is some massive power up that surpasses what devil fruits can do, as is the holy land treasure in some good vs evil thing.

Also, in terms of the Haki, Joy Boy took his Haki, and put it inside a robot for that robot to use. I have to wonder if that’s how Blackbeard took Whitebeard’s devil fruit, and was told that he wasn’t the man Roger is waiting for, on a count that he doesn’t follow what being a D. initial haver is, along with using an ancient Joy Boy power for evil.

Ignoring, I presume, the arcs where it is not a factor.

AAHH! Got to love the woke academics. They cannot define what a woman is, recognise one on the street or what sound they make but they will defend them despite all that.

The real life pararell is that global elites are the cause of all mass racial discrimination in the world. How is that for a connection. Or, alternatively, BM 's stupid attempt at forcing a racial utopia.

Bloody good theory. Mine is that it was activated by accident due to some research or potentially the presense of Imu. If Joyboy can activate him, perhaps so can his evil counterpart (only he would be an enemy).

Which, if it's the latter, suggests that Luffy has another power up in the future.

I am glad there are other powers and power-ups outside of DFs. Also, someone has to ask Oda to draw full Zoan and hybrid of Nika. We only confirmed the Awakened form.

I don’t get the racial harmony thing you guys are talking about in regards to that faggot YouTuber.

The racial animus against the Fishmem is something I never understood in One Piece. It’s very top down by the Dragons, there’s no real reason for it. They weren’t enslaved en mass. Fisher Tigers whole issues with humans comes from the fact that he was traumatized by the horrors of Mary Geoise. He associated all humans with the Dragons despite most of his fellow slaves being humans and mostly human tribes.

In regards to a Utopia where all races get into a fuck pile? That’s Whole Cake. Big Mom literally wants to create a place where all races can come together and have a tea party. The issue is she’s in charge and most of Big Mom’s kids don’t get along.

Luffy’s whole deal is free determination in where he’s going. His only issue with Wano is someone telling him he can’t free them from a foreign tyrant because he is a foreigner. Ultimately Momo does nut up and help Luffy defeat Kaido.

I guess I’m not understanding what the faggot YouTuber you guys are discussing is taking about, but I’m brain dead after doing a 48 hour shift.

Honestly, my only thing I’ve got set in regards to that in the endgame is that the WG and Marines are reformed and possibly restructured, and the Celestial Dragons lose all the advantages they’ve abused. And their holy land may or may not be destroyed.
