Stupid cunt daughter.
Stupid cunt mom.
It runs in the family.
Notice how no one ever brings up a stupid cunt father, hmm?
I don't think the reaper is going anywhere but I do think this is going to open up the floodgates if you know what I mean.
Mori and Kiara are almost 100% Ride or Die Hololive members, the only way I see them leaving is if they get into major drama or health issues. Gura is the obvious assumption for next to go, especially with this new special "affiliate" status that lets her quit but not quit, but at the same time she basically already acts like a "affiliate".

I think Gura likes being an idol too much to give up any time soon. Plus, with stuff like the baseball sponsorship she's probably making way too much money to quit.

Ina's main passion is art, so I can see her having to eventually choose between going further in that career (joining a studio or even trying to start her own) or staying at Hololive.

What is going to happen to Ame's channel? Will they delete everything ? I believe their policy was that they will delete everything unless the talent asks them to keep it up, such as with coco or sana. Does anyone know if someone has archived some of it (or if someone is doing so)?
Would be a shame to loose the content especially the anniversary+ collab streams.

So this whole song and dance is basically just a way for her quit Hololive but still be able to pop up in projects? Honestly sounds like she wants her cake and eat it too, can't commit to quitting full stop but doesn't want to actually produce content anymore.

Guess Ame is a test run for Gura's short chat next year.
It makes way more sense from a business standpoint. Why build up this brand mascot and then just delete it when the performer leaves? This way her and cover still get a revenue stream for all her work in the form of merch.

Minato Aqua is an iconic landmark of anime culture up there with many greats but for whatever reason they'll never make a single figure, plush or poster of her ever again? Doesn't make sense. She'll never show up in any promo art, and her videos at this point can only go away if they're copyright claimed, they'll never make more. She's doomed to fade into obscurity.
That's true, but how much do you keep up with your old coworkers?
Not the same, you just have to work with your coworkers, their job is literally to become friends with and form chemistry with their coworkers.

Pretty sure they only delete channels when the split isn't amicable and the talent was actually fired. Given that everyone is open to Amelia coming back for future projects (or whatever the fuck is going on) that's obviously not the case here.

I suspect like other graduations all the content on the channel will remain, they've only deleted content when it was a termination. Memberships will probably stop so any content behind the paywall will be lost.

Said it before, but this concept is not new it exists within idol culture already and wrestling does it with free agents like CM punk.

For all intents and purposes she's not going to be coming back unless they do a big event so it's basically just four with an occasional guest party member.

As for who's going to go next?

I don't like guessing but it's in my gut that it's going to happen and it's going to be another one of the girls especially since they finally adapted a pseudo retirement idea.

I know people bring up how much money they make but a lot more goes into getting out of the business then just how much money you can milk from it.

A job like this requires a lot of physical and mental strength and the reason why it exploded is because a bunch of young women saw it as an opportunity to basically cosplay as an anime character while basically making streaming a job but didn't realize what all it demanded.

how do you make a great collab? does it require a massive propietary ground-up-customized server with dedicated on-call staff and mobs of falsetto-shrieking JP idols that only the dankest occidental shut-ins have even heard of??

NO!

all you need a co-op game that peaked 6 months ago, a cussing fox, and an ersatz pair of italian plumbers.

hard to pick highlights, when there were so many... like tenma figuring out the pointing mechanic and using it to point at her coworkers and yell "you are homosexual!"

honestly, the three of them spontaneously playing a demonic version "turkey in the straw" on harmonica, kazoo and pennywhistle was pure magic.
