So I’ve decided I’m not going to use silicone carbide because it’ll be impossible to paint. Maybe I’ll experiment with some on grip tape.

Is it possible to mix sand and paint with acrylic to brush it on some tape?

I’m a retard and will do whatever is necessary to avoid changing out this factory frame.

Afaik you can't glue Nylon which is what most new guns use. The adhesive on tape isn't really a regular type of glue, it's just a tacky sort of thing that doesn't actually cure, therefore it'll work just fine basically no matter what. Don't really know how to explain it besides it being a physical bond and not a chemical one.

Only thing worse than glueing sand to your gun is using a soldering iron on your frame for the first time imo

what actually is the gun? it should be marked on the barrel or frame, typically with a brand or logo. .38 special was a police service cartridge for the better part of 70 years and in some places still serves a similar role.

On the cartridge itself, since I have one. It's a decent round with a proven track record and proven loads. Out of a snubbie with a 2 inch barrel like in a S&W Model 36 its a hot 380 auto with more weight but less speed, and out of a 4 inch barrel, say in a S&W Model 10, it's basically 9mm, especially with +p. Recommend the FBI load for duty carry. It's also extremely common in the revolver world, the 9mm of revolvers.

The FBI released the second Trump assassin's rifle. It did indeed end up being a Bubba'd SKS. However its a lot worse than that. Here's some of the highlight that make it so horrendous

- Gluing the scope rings to the receiver with white Elmer's glue
- strapping the scope to the gun with hose clamps

Well I bought the Model 29 yesterday, got 100 rounds of .44mag and .44special. I have never fired either caliber before but I enjoy shooting my 45-70 cyclops so I'm sure I can handle it. I also got a leupold M8 2x for it with the proper mounts. I'll probably find some wood grips as it currently has these aftermarket rubber ones.

Take a closer look, that's a Combat Exchange stock, those are ancient by now. They were renamed to ATI forever ago. There's no telling who bubba'd it. That stock could have been added 30 years and seven owners ago.

The obliterated serial number was a nice touch.

Haven't seen one of those before. That stock isn't terrible, it's functional. But everything else about that setup screams mental illness.
