What's going on with the DOJ? It's like they're doing their job or something. We have this and we have them going after Visa that has openly de-banked right leaning people. Is there some sort of weird internal fight going on?
I seem to recall Adams not being in lockstep with the regime and almost immediately his aide was raided.

Probably a coincidence.

Wasn't Eric Adams somewhat liked by the people of New York? Would the indictment affect the election odds for that state?
Naaa he's a piece of shit. A friend of mine who works for the city in some civil department or something even told me when he won that she was shocked he won because it's such an open secret about how utterly corrupt he is.

He was the main impetus for me leaving NYC. Lived there for about 50 years and I even told my fiancee the night of the election that if he won, I was putting my house up for sale and leaving NYC. I told her that he was way more corrupt than even DeBlasio and that he's gonna tank the city and I need to sell my house while I can still get someone to buy it.

She thought I was being dramatic. He won, the very next morning I called a real estate agent to list my house. Within two months I was out of NYC and in a new house. Sadly, I noticed my old house has been listed so the guy who bought it is trying to get out now also.

He was all in, on the far left bullshit and all the socialist bullshit. The problem is, he got called on it and folded like a bitch. What really did him in, was Texas bussing illegals to NYC. Adams made such huge noise about Texas not wanting migrants and how the border states need to step up and how Sanctuary cities are the way. Until Texas decided to start bussing the illegals to NYC and calling him on his bullshit. He never expected that and it fucked his shit up mightily. Soon, NYC was overrun with illegals, that combined with Adams and Bragg not wanting to prosecute crimes, especially from illegals, and crime and assaults have skyrocketed to numbers that haven't been seen before. As it stands, there's been 100 murders in the past 400 or so days in Manhattan. That shit is utterly insane.

Since NYC is busting at the seams with illegals and doesn't' have the budget to support so many deadbeats, he was forced to cry uncle and agree that migrants are fucking shit up. There you go. He just became the first person to stop applauding Stalin. So now the machine he was part of has come for him.

Too many people noticed them only going after Trump and velvet rope respecting tourists, and the strongest right wing DOJ defenders in Congress are retiring.
It is also interesting how they are doing this to a New York mayor. Is Trump's polling numbers in NY spooking them into action or something?

Smelly Kamala was softball interviewed by MSNBC hack Stefanie Ruhle, and it's a cavalcade of theater kid lies. She's still pretending she worked at McDonald's, I even heard it in a Kamala ad today on TV.

Goddamn, Stephanie Ruhle is fucking cute.

Am I the only person who has no problem understanding RFK?
Same. But most of the time I listen to him, I'm wearing headphones. I wonder if his voice isn't as clear for people listening to it through shitty, compressed phone speaker audio.

Not even my sperg posts are that badly worded wtf.
Who the hell talks like that, unironically?

Eric Adams just got indicted

Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted by a grand jury on charges connected to a federal probe that has shaken his administration, sources told The Post.

The historic indictment of the first sitting mayor of New York City is expected to be unsealed Thursday by US Attorney Damian Williams, according to the sources. The news was first reported by The New York Times.

Adams will surrender to authorities early next week, sources said.

“I always knew that if I stood my ground for New Yorkers that I would be a target — and a target I became,” Adams said in a statement to The Post.

“If I am charged, I am innocent, and I will fight this with every ounce of my strength and spirit.”

A rep for the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, which is prosecuting the case, declined to comment.

Details about the exact accusations remained unclear, but are believed to be connected to allegations of the Turkish government illegally funneling money into his mayoral campaign, according to sources.

the eternal roach strikes again
Nigger, Democrat.

There will be no conviction.

It's an election year.

It's a flashy target close to the Southern District of New York, the clearinghouse for shady prosecutions. "Hey, we're really concerned about international bribery, it has nothing to do with lying about Trump being controlled by Russia."
wait...why the fuck would countries be bribing the mayor of New York?
Outside of western nations, bribery is commonplace. If you want to get anything done, you MUST pay the people in power.
Could be anything from problems with permitting, or any of the cartel of unions controlling the port, to a longer political connection for various reasons.

wait...why the fuck would countries be bribing the mayor of New York? He's not really that important nor does he really know anything worth the trouble.

Seriously...what am I missing here?
He has previously expressed reluctance to allow unfettered illegal immigration into NYC. I think that's what put him on the radar of the people who look into corruption. Ironically (honestly, not really that ironically) he's probably being punished for the one time he actually did the right thing, not for anything (or everything) else he did that was wrong.

Whatever he did, I doubt it's as bad as stuff that every other corrupt politician has also done. (I do agree that he is still hella corrupt though.)

What would you say was the turning point of Adam's decline? Him denouncing the migrants? His prior connection with P. Diddy? How their liberal policies actually meant doom and gloom for their 24/7 city? I've never seen him stand firmly on ANY issue. He postures like a puppet.
Diddys bodyguard said it was connected to a scandal in New York. Im not sure how but maybe Adams fucked something up?

He WAS for a brief microsecond when he was first elected (see: the cult of "vote blue no matter who"). However, he's such an extreme fuckup whose monkeyshines know no bounds, that he's thusly attacked by all sides. Despite being a barely-literate negro who speaks in ebonics, an actual DEI hire, a Democrat, a police-defunder, and defender of pedos (see his tweet honoring the legacy of Joseph Rosenbaum), even Redditards on r/nyc hate his guts. Speaking empirically and powerleveling a bit, one of my close relatives is a leftoid gay Zoomer who lives in Manhattan -- and he hates Eric Adams as much as Trump.

The funny thing is, though, shitlibs on social media hate Adams so bad that they deny he's a Democrat. They seriously try to argue that he's a DINO, or a Republican infiltrator who got elected to corrupt NYC from within. Any time you look up various anti-Adams threads on r/nyc, it's a big circlejerk of Redditards seething at the mayor they proudly elected whilst claiming he's technically not really a Democrat. Sort by "controversial" to see any comments about Eric Adams being a Democrat and elections having consequences being downvoted and ratioed with angry trannies saying, "Um, actually he's not a Democrat, he's just a corrupt RepubliKKKan who infiltrated our party and won an election. I bet he has ties to Russia. just like Blumpf."
To also add, Eric Adams was a hardcore vegan activist, despite him not being vegan (was seen eating fish).
During his mandate, he forced the schools and hospitals to not serve meat in Friday or Monday because of MUH ENVIRONMENT.

It would have been understandable if this was optional or used for treating obesity. But this is forced. Also notice how they call it "Plant-based" instead of vegan. Common woke tactic of manipulating language.
So he is not "le based" mayor. He was a corrupt, authoritarian and pozzed politician like many others.
I think his spergery about the immigration bad is because he got to deal with the immigrants from Texas, he didn't care as long as others were dealing with the crisis.

This bitch is so fucking annoying. Well, both of them. But the journo is so entitled. "Madam Vice President, the people of America are too retarded to understand why they need you as president. Why are people so stupid?"

Also lol calling Tampon Tim a gut decision. Gehenna called it by saying that she went against the DNC by choosing him.

Storytime from an actual New Yorker:

When Adams got in, it was after fucking DeBlasio, so it was generally assumed he'd be a better administrator than one of the literal worst mayors NYC'd had in decades, especially because of his background - former law enforcement, and it was generally thought he'd be an okay candidate (lord knows, the Repubs didn't bother running or funding an opposition candidate, which is strange because they made serious gains in most of Long Island that season).

The optimism over him lasted about five days before it became painfully apparent that he was going to be, if anything, worse than his predecessor, which is something that should have immediately made him eligible for a lifetime achievement award. It was less than a week before the honeymoon period wore off and even NY's media class was like: "....We have made a terrible fucking mistake."

He has gone on to make his predecessor look competent by comparison, and to do that goes kind of beyond the understanding of even dedicated analysts. His admin transcends both ineptitude and short-sightedness, miring itself in fuckups the likes of which even this struggling city has seldom seen before.

PAY ATTENTION DAMMIT! THIS ISN'T SUSPECT, TUCKER IS!
I appreciate the fact that Tucker has some influence on American politics, and whether he is a plant is a topic worth discussing, but this is rapidly becoming a Tucker General (or Jew General given the amount of sperging about the Jews).
Call me a sperg all you want, but when king misdirection comes knocking, I suspect...
piss off? he made it obvious and blatant. like the bitch mayor in IL.
A ton of politicians are blatantly corrupt and never get prosecuted. From what I'm reading in the thread, he made the party look bad saying the obvious thing about the migrant hordes. I'm pretty damn sure he would still be safe and cozy if he had managed to deflect that bullet. This is a punishment, not the product of an honest investigation.
