Right wing cat owning males make sense as their politics are often rooted in a deep desire to protect others while preserving the right to be left alone. They also tend to share the cat-ly traits of independence, elusiveness, and love of quietude and privacy.

The cat acts as a proxy for a child and a partner, giving them something to raise and care for that doesn't require the same effort a dog does. Cats will give affection but then go off and do their own thing which is how most people under 40 have been conditioned to view modern relationships, an endless cycle of short term euphoria chasing followed by indifference and rejection.

I don't think the Germans had the naval and logistic resources needed to mount such an operation and win.

There was no hope of crossing the Channel successfully if they could not control the sky, because the RAF and the Navy would have destroyed most of the landing force at sea. So, when they lost the Battle of Britain, they had to call it off.

Liking cats and dogs is never a thing that I will hold against a person. It is a positive trait in anyone. I understand why some people might dislike them as well.

I like animals in general, but I also undestand that they're animals. It's easier to get along with an animal that has a few millenia of selective breeding toward personable traits.

I even like wild animals, just as I have a deep respect and admiration for the natural world. I just respect them from a distance, and because I'm not a fucking psychopath I put the wellbeing of humans above the wellbeing of like, a bear for instance. They're best suited by our absence.

In any case, cats and dogs rock. Wild animals are very cool. Being obsessive about anything is gay, unless it's a skillset. That's my rant.
