To be fair to African Americans, attempts to break the mold are harder in their community due to how compartmentalized they are. If you are a poor black man who likes a Republican for any reason, there are few options for you in terms of social interaction. A black person in the ghetto has a low chance of getting out.

To be fair, the people that really love and really hate Trump both see him as the God Emperor, but they have very different opinions on if that's a good or a bad thing. I'm also pretty sure the God Emperor references started with leftists. Like many viral anti-Trump memes, it had the opposite effect.

I have friends who are black and from black families who don't do any of that shit. They do not eat corn starch, wash chicken, or over-season their food. I think that this is a Southern thing, though, since all the black people I know are from north of the Mason-Dixon line. Your mileage may vary.

I don't understand some people's mentality on Churchill and why they don't like him*. Churchill was born into British aristocracy and brought up with those values which influenced him later in life as a massive Imperialist Paleoconservative. Churchill also spent time in his early life as a soldier in the British Army and spent his whole career before becoming PM trying to advance the British Empire. Churchill also spoke favorably of the Spanish Nationalists (as well as Mussolini before the war broke out), and he also was very vocally in favor of the Whites in the Russian Civil War and tried to get them assistance - he was also opposed to Islam as well.
With all of that being said, it doesn't make sense that Churchill, at the height of his career, would deliberately sacrifice that empire he spent his whole life trying to advance for the sake of stopping Germany - one must also consider Churchill's anti-Communist politics and take note of Russia controlling half of Europe after the war. Taking pattern recognition into account, something like that wouldn't make sense when you look at everything before his first premiership.
* If someone in this thread doesn't like Churchill, please explain why besides /pol/ reasons.
