2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

I guess I’m surprised to see them celebrating so openly. I was led to believe they would be dropped off the nearest roof for this sort of thing.

Depends what and who is doing it. The secret police have been slacking, especially since the latest round of protests were caused by the "auxillaries" going at it little too hard. They're already drinking alcohol, so its not like they are in a place being watched overclose by the Iranian Glowies.

You think Israel will really be able to anschluss or at least decimate South Lebanon this time or will they get bogged down again just like the other 2 times they tried this?

No, yes sort of, no.

They won't get bogged down again. They learned their lesson from 2006, plus their massive hilarious intelligence coups: They have shut down Hezbin Hotel's comms, rendered hundreds of terrorists unable to fight and then go hide in schools, and before going in the IDF hit their weapon caches. They also have been planning this for a while - the Christians and Druze are sympathetic if not to israel then to neutering the Palestinians. So unlike 2006 which was fairly shipshod and rushed they have agreements with local ethnic militia, and probably have a pitch to the Sunni militia ready to go - in 2006 a lot the militia that COULD have been allies were at best sitting it out and at worst allowing Hezbollah and allies to tranverse their territory on fears that Israel was trying another annexation.

So they are going to do in hard, whatever is left of Hezbologna is going to stay and get their faces absolutely fucking wrecked because they have no weapons, no civilian houses to hide in/under, and their ability to resupply from Syria or Iran is pretty much done. Israel has been preparing for this shit for nearly the past two decades. They are READY.

That said, they have also learned their lesson from the 80s when they did try to occupy southern Lebanon. They won't try that again. I have heard unsourced wonking that they will be removing kabob and turning the area over to Druze & Christian militia once done to act as a defacto demilitarized zone.

So they won't annex it again, they will decimate it and probably level everything in the Palestinian areas, and they won't be getting bogged down again.

I was just thinking about all those people laughing and making fun of the fact of how many people left the room for the UN speech and what we know about it now.. He and Israel gets the last laugh once again. hahaha

I just wonder how many other higher ups and mid level guys got taken out in the strike, but got overshadowed because of the potential high profile targets.

I wonder if the trading death card guy got taken out too? He's been awfully quiet... :(

The BBC are reporting that Hezbollah has confirmed the death of Nasrallah

Awesome!

This has been an unbelievable last few weeks and months. Gloves off took only a fraction of the time imagined to wipe the entire upper to mid level structure of the organization.

Cue some kind of retarded cope whining about how an important party in any potential diplomatic peace process has been lost or some shit from the west and left. You know there will be at least some kind of attempt to put a negative spin and narrative on this terrorist scum's death.

That's a retardedly stupid attitude and defeats the whole point of Kiwi Farms. If you want an echo chamber instead of dialogue, go to fucking Reddit.

Exactly! Retardedly stupid is the perfect description of it in fact!

I wonder if the unhinged anti-Israel protests made them realize that they were never winning them over and just decide to do the needful. I hope thy've learned their lesson and will be just as efficient wiping out terrorists in the future.

And some people think that Hezbollah can come back from this, but I genuinely don't see how. Terrorist groups are resilient, they can survive leaders being taken out, but this was all of the top brass being wiped out in about two months (Israel seemed to really start going after HA after Majdal Shams). Most of the damage was done in the last two weeks. It takes some time to replace a leader, and they kind of have to be replaced by someone else in the organization (a. you need the experience b. you need the respect c. you need the trust). With the entire leadership wiped out, it will take years to build these things for the dozens of people at the top... and even if you did decide to just move the highest ranking surviving members to the tippy top of Hezbollah's militia... they aren't going to agree on who should be the leader which will cause infighting. Oh, and I'd be pretty surprised if most of the surviving low-ranking members want to associate themselves with Hezbollah right now.

It's possible that a group calling itself Hezbollah will eventually rise up. They may even attach themselves to the political wing of Hezbollah, but they will effectively be a new organization.

Yup, plus think about all the damage to mid levels with the pagers and radios. Then take into account the loss of communication infrastructure in general, and the fear of doing anything in person. Regrouping, let alone rebuilding, is going to be a hard road when you can't communicate or meet in person. To say nothing of all the weapons, ammo and respect lost in the last few weeks. The thousands of low ranking members fleeing north for their lives. Hell, their home HQ was just taken out in it's entirety!

“Hezbollah is totally decapitated but he’s a martyr now, and Netanyahu is getting cooked on social media by commiefags and wignats, so who really won?”

It’s funniest from the Nazis since all they can say is how Israel’s violating human rights

That has been the most hilarious aspect to this whole war.. How even those types suddenly care about so-called "international law", bullshit excuses and the liberal order of things (niceties) when it comes to the Jews winning or fighting anything.

Telling Washington about military plans is a surefire way to have them leaked to the enemy (to "deescalate"), so I don't know what they expect at this point.

This shit is both disgraceful and infuriating at the same time.

"NO! Don't win because...something something and you'll lose if you do!"

This mentality is why the US and west can't get things done.
I'm 101% sure that if WW2 happened today, we would have these retards protesting the idea of taking out hitler, while anti war retards called for an end to the fighting the moment the germans were pushed back into Germany.... if not, and very likely, a LOT sooner!

He's just parroting what the Qatari, and Saudi, owned State Department told him.

Don't forget that this admin and the Obama one had at least pro Iranian elements. You should probably add them to that list.

The University of Michigan chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace, that totally legitimate organization that totally for real represents "Jews" and "Peace" and is not at all a front group run by butthurt Muslims, apparently published this statement to express their grief over Nasrallah's death:

This is another prong of the Wests/Israels war against Islamic nations. They've eroded the traditional values of a decent chunk of the local populations so it has sown enough dissent that people are willing to vocally oppose the ruling regime.

Gives them another issue to worry about.

anyone know why visegrad deleted their tweet about yassin?
I don't know their tweet specially, but it was widely and apparently wrongly reported that he formally succeeded Nasrallah as Secretary-General of Hezbollah before he too was killed.

so am i to understand that yassin simply hadn't officially taken up the mantle of leader when he was assassinated?

Though I'm also going to say that before this week I thought the "OcT 7 wAs A iNsIdE jOb" people were functionally retarded. I'mma confess I'm not 100% on
More like institutional and operational arrogance and complacency. Remember, since 2014 Hamas has been "dealt with". They got smashed in the 2014 war and Iron Dome was working and in place since then as well. Hamas was "negotiating" and allowing a trial guest worker program across the border to the delight of Israeli bleeding heart leftists and Hamas fellators in the USA and EU.

Their attempted cross border raids on 2014 and 2019 were stopped as they were small and .... Incompetent.

So for nearly a decade the IDF on the border didn't really do anything besides take potshots at Hamas retards and dick around on their phones and try to fuck the hottest piece of ass in the units....

Right until the morning of October 7th 2023 when a few thousand VERY motivated Hamas killers successful blinded a few watchtowers, took out the cell phone network and caught the guards by total surprise....

It would be like if CJNG suddenly overran a Border Patrol checkpoint and invaded Laredo today. A total outside context problem. A lot of "TheY JuSt WoulDn't DO ThAT" energy.
Because its not 1550ish miles there, that's 1500 additional miles they have to fly BACK. Everyone thinks "1500 miles is nothing for airstrikes" because they're thinking the US with carriers everywhere and a massive infrastructure of in-air refueling, and alternate bases to land at after. Without that, you are going to be sending your strike group up as mostly drop tanks - and some one is going notice that.
Assuming someone notices something in the air, and that's nearly guaranteed because the jets wouldn't have the endurance to fly nape-of-the-earth and make it back home, that's at least two hours and more like 3-4, that Iran has heads up that something is coming their way. That's an eternity, that is enough time to detect and redeploy fighters.

In addition, once on station, Iran doesn't have to win the Air war to turn back any Israeli incursion they just have to get them to burn fuel. F-4s and F-14s are old, but they are fast and nimble. You could send them up with dummy missiles and the Israeli pilots won't be able to risk fucking around and finding out.
Most radars in Iranian service can't detect an F-35. The issue is fuel range.

Also, an Israeli air attack on Iran would probably use cruise missile and ultra long range glide bombs and drones on a one way flight.

The F-4 and F-14s radar guided missiles would probably be easily defeated by Israeli ecm, rheyr late 1970s vintage.

The best aircraft the Iranians have are mid to late 1989s vintage Mig-29s and Mirage F1s they got from Iraq at the tail end of the Gulf war. Even those are OLD here with old missiles
Israeli AIM-120s outrage anything Iran has besides their refurbished Phoenix and those probably wouldn't be able to achieve a good lock on an Israeli F-15I let alone an F-35.

Iranian jet's RWRs probably wouldn't even detect emissions from Israeli jets....so their jets would start exploding like Iraqi jets did when they encountered the F-14 for the first time.
where's the regional war, biden you decrepit fuck? it looks more like the muzzies are scared shitless.
Biden's admin is filled with a bunch of IRGC/Hamas/Hezzbollah supporting cocksuckers WHO LOVE Jihadis and Shia Jihadis in particular.

Remember, Obama's BIG foreign policy "achievement" was the retarded Iran nuclear deal.... The Democrats HAVE to keep it alive to keep his legacy strong.
Why are these Iranians celebrating his death? I thought the Muslim's hatred of Jews allowed them to coalesce — even Sunni and Shia. Are these non-Muslim Arabs?
A solid 30-60% of Iranians are actually atheists who despise the regime.

The problem is, the hardcore regime supporters have guns and aren't afraid of use them

As long as you're not calling for the overthrow of the regime or being a homosexual the Iranian secret police are a bit calmer now

They're also hiding their faces.
Oh my God we found @Dawdler 🤣😂

Hehe people forget that Iran is barely 52-60% Persian it has HUGE amounts of Kurds, Arabs, Azeris and Baluchis who may or may not HATE the regime and want an independent homeland or to join another country....

Hezbollah made a lot of enemies in the region with that boneheaded decision to get involved in Syria. Even factions that would be okay with fighting the perfidious Jews are at best sitting this one out, or at worst actively helping to kick Hezbollah's teeth in. They are fucked and discovering too late just how tenuous a proposition relying on Iran is.
