Bob Chipman / Robert Lewis Chipman / MovieBob / Game OverThinker - "Coastal Elite Thinker" who wants conservatives, Christians and manual workers eradicated. Universally ignorant; cannot tell reality from sci-fi. Sore loser with short fuse. Odious Disney shill. Tranny chaser and general creep. Fat and diabetic.

Like I said earlier, Bob has a low bar for entertainment levels. His definition of "bad" isn't our definition. The criteria are markedly different. Maybe he got this from his own autistically narcissistic brain that needs constant stimulation, and if it stimulates his brain, it doesn't matter how hokey the dialogue is or how contradictory the plot and storyline elements are - to him it's "good" because he gets his dopamine hihits.
No one ever criticizes porn for its plot.

(Which is pretty much what Bob wants all the time. Even if not always sexual.)

The hilarious part is Bob the Hypocrite is so stupid, he thinks that Good ™️ and Evil ™️ can exist without a universal moral guidance (i.e. God) and that they are Objective (not Subjective) even though people on the Left like to claim that morality is subjective and not objective.
As I keep saying, Moviebob has no experience with the concept of moral intelligence because Moviebob obviously possesses neither.

Bob doesn't care about the hypocrisy. He just cares about winning.
Especially if victory comes through anger.

White republicans died in a flood. He is thus happy. That applies to anything Bob does. As long as it benifits him he will bend his morals.
LOL, what morals?

Honestly, Bob deserves to have bad things happen to him, but sadly that's not how reality works. He's even managed to somewhat survive the awful health effects his lifestyle has brought on.
Bob doesn't necessarily need to suffer any misfortune because he is a deeply unhappy person who based his vision of the future on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Like many left-wing dipshits he bought into the progressive lie that humanity is moving to an enlightened post-scarcity utopia when human nature does not work that way. Hell, I would go as far as to say that he's siding with the people who are retarding technological progress because they are in a cargo cult that believes science will gift them wonders through magical thinking. Of course, he will marinate in his bitterness over the years and impotently curse the chuds for depriving him of the future he deserves, but Bob made his own hell and he will never escape it until his blackened heart gives out.

Bob's only real concept of morality surrounds his family and protecting the precious PeeOhCees, Bundles of Sticks, Speds, Troons, and Whamen.
Bobby's only concept of morality: No Such Thing As Bad Tactics.

I have skipped all the daily viral marketeering of this pathetic live-action Looney Tunes, that Bobby retweets religiously. But now they get political.

Zuckerberg predicts "smart glasses" will be the "next major computing platform", just as cell phones has become the dominant computing platform even if we haven't ditched out laptops and desktops. He says that 20 to 30 years in the future, people will still carry their cell phones, but they'll keep them in their pockets while they do computing tasks on "smart glasses".

Zuckerberg's beating around the bush is annoying; it takes him more than one minute to get a tiny point across. Perhaps he has indeed been listening to the wrong podcasts.

On a fundamental level, it's been clear to me for some time that Bob doesn't actually understand what constitutes "bad". Maybe part of this is a result of his Blue Curtains Analysis education in "Film Studies". And of course, like any good autist/narcissist, he thinks that all Properly Evolved Actually-A-Persons perceive media in the exact same way he does, and can neither comprehend nor contemplate that any other way of thinking about media is possible or correct.
His criteria for good boils down to "Lot of bright colors, lots of action, lots of spectacle, and a massive budget makes a good movie".

It's funny that despite being a wannabe film critic, he hates criticizing movies as their own work. When he makes a video after the weekend, he gets annoyed because he 'has' to talk about the discourse around the movie, and usually spends more time on that than anything else. He admits that his main issues with Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan aren't about them as directors, but their fan bases. And he factors the people who like a project into his basis on whether or not a movie is good more than the actual quality of the film on its own.

To be fair to Bob, Vance was debating three women simultaneously. I can understand if he got a bit irritated.

This one is deceptively edited. Vance would go on to explain how they were legalized at the stroke of Kamala's pen, not by going through the proper channels. For some reason, though, I don't think this will be classified as misinformation.

Please note that Biden could end this strike at any point (like he did with the railroad strike a few years back), but he chose not to.

FEMA and the Feds didn't lift a finger until private companies took action and (more importantly) Trump had his photo ops. Biden was on Rehobeth Beach and Harris was campaigning in California.

If all the artists stopped working, I don't think we'd notice. If all the trash collectors stopped working, we'd notice real fast.

I really don't want to see MovieBob's review of The Abominable Dr. Phibes which was one of Vincent Price's better movies. I can only expect it to infuriate me.

So, I'll do a mini-review instead. Vincent Price became a horror icon by playing a character type that we can call the theatrical madman. These characters are defined simply by being insane in an interesting and theatrical way. This particular character type goes back to the black and white era, for example, his role in The Mad Magician. Later he had one more of his iconic roles as this archetype in House of Wax. While each of these films has a lot to recommend it, especially for Halloween viewing, in some ways the greatest iteration of this role is encapsulated in Dr. Anton Phibes. Phibes was the main villain in The Abominable Dr. Phibes, and arguably the hero of Dr. Phibes Rises Again (though still quite villainous). I won't say too much about the sequel here, except to note that both films are dark comedies, with the second film balancing more toward the comedy end of the scale. Unhinged by his own disfigurement and the death of his wife, Phibes decides to bring down the wrath of God on her doctors for failing to save her life. One of the fun things about this film is, "How will Phibes' ingenuity manage to recreate each of the twelve plagues of Egypt using relatively mundane tools?" The film does not disappoint. One of Price's best roles and a must see for any of his fans.

Agreed, Phibes is one of Price's most entertaining films. They even got Joseph Cotten for the chief surgeon and final victim! Oodles of fun.

I tried watching Bob's review. I'm ashamed to say I lasted maybe a minute. Maybe I'll try again later. But between his grating, fake, sped-up Boston accent and his autistic jabbering about not being sure whether to put this film under "This Movie Exists" or "Schlocktober," as though these were megabrands anybody cares about, I just couldn't be bothered.

Does anyone remember the specifics of his college studies? I have it in my head that he just got a two year degree in multimedia studies and went to a community college. I might be mixing up a few cows though.

If I recall Blob has a degree in Media Studies, meaning he doesn't have an actual film degree. I know he's mentioned his actual degree a couple of times as an attempt at a gotcha.

If you study much history, the sad fact is most of humanity for most of the time had a very protagonist-centered morality. It wasn't full on narcissism because folks still had a sense of community and needing the group for survival, but it was very tribalism focused. Thus: "Enslaving those other guys to help out our guys is a good thing! Us getting enslaved by others is a bad thing!"

It took many years (and possibly divine intervention depending on your view) before people started getting the concept: "wait a minute, maybe enslavement of anybody is a bad thing. We should stop doing that!" And well... now we're where we're at after all that. The history of ethics in humanity is... a fascinating study.

Now I know he's picked up enough shibboleths of the modern era that he'd never say it, but part of me would bet real money (probably from @Mola Ram's wallet) that if you could get full and brutal honesty from Bob, that he would agree that Democrats should enslave Republicans. Because bad things should happen to bad people and since republicans are bad, and the baddest thing is slavery, it would be only right and just for them all to be enslaved.

And I'm sposed to believe that BOB treats wait staff with respect?! At the very least he'll be a fucking creep to them, and that's also not respect.
Why are people still praying for the antichrist? If you pray for the jews, you pray for God's judgement to be delivered to them shift and severe.
I take issue with the concept that prayers do nothing. Prayer was involved in finding a diamond on a fucking soccer field soon after it had fallen out of its setting, and the person who found it had no fucking clue a prayer was involved.

I see bob and the furry have not met Greenpeace. Those people and other groups like it believe that the population must be curtailed sharply in order to save the Planet/Environment. Patrick Moore, who used to be up high in Greenpeace, quit the organization because it became a misanthropic radicalized anti-human-development organization. The straw that broke the camel's back for Moore was the time in the mid 80s that Greenpeace proposed banning Chlorine. The Element. Which is present in MANY necessary things including table salt, pharmaceuticals (many drugs are hydrochlorides for example), and water treatment facilities. That's when he knew they were cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

Bob and Furry are incapable of comprehending that these people are INSANE, that's why it doesn't make sense. Not because it isn't true, but because crazy people want to kill people. Some of those people just happen to also be rich sociopaths. Bob on the one hand seems to recognize that some CEOs and such are bad people, but on the other hand doesn't usually seem to extend that beyond "they just want money money money, but that's normal".

Some :epik: needs to ask Bob, "Dude, you already know Rich Greedy CEO's are bad people. Is it really a bridge too far to recognize that this badness extends to wanting millions of people to die?"

Some people are just so selfish and greedy (and insane on top of being wealthy beyond comprehension - many wealthy people are Cluster B Clusterfucks because they are 'driven Narcissists' rather than Bob's specific flavor of Lazy Narcissist) that they would prefer less people be around so that they get more. It's not actually logical - Cluster B Clusterfuckery NEVER is - but there is a certain "logic" to it. These people don't want more people for more help. They want fewer people so they can have more stuff that other people won't be using. And then throw in "TO SAVE THE PLANET!" to justify it.
this pig review of the producers is legit one of the most retarded things that i have ever seen. his FILM CRITIC DEGREE only amounts to quoting wikipedia and his retarded interpretations from his failed brain. as a movie critic he is legit worthless
Bob's film "studies" degree only taught him to read the Blue Curtains harder.

If I recall Blob has a degree in Media Studies, meaning he doesn't have an actual film degree. I know he's mentioned his actual degree a couple of times as an attempt at a gotcha.
Bob's too ignorant and stupid to realize that "Media/Film Studies" is NOT a degree about learning how to MAKE movies and shit. It's about how to read the Blue Curtains through a Postmodernist-Commie lens.

I looked it up. That church is St. Chad's Church, Stafford, and the inscription reads "The man who established me is called Orm". Orm is the name of the landowner, the one who paid for the church, not the mason or the stoneworker who was unlikely to know Latin. Indeed, before the 20th century, with the exception of very few people such as Michelangelo, the people who contributed to the building of a church and its decoration didn't even think they were doing art.
indeed - they were expert craftsmen who took pride in their work, which is why many of those churches are still intact after the thick end of 1,000 years
