Walz's closing statement made his debate performance even worse. It was literally stringing their campaign slogans together, and complaining about Jan 6th (something nobody outside the DC elite cares about).

This is the US Politics thread. I'm stating how Iran's attack will be effecting the US presidential election. And yes, Biden and Harris are concerned over not pissing off Hamas sympathizers, though you could also call them Hezbollah sympathizers or Iran sympathizers if you prefer. It's all the same lot.

I'm not sure about this bizarro world you've concotted but here in reality the Biden-Harris admin is probably just waiting until the election is over before putting the hammer down on that particular crowd. You did see the police response to all those protests over the summer, right? Or the hefty stipend we just gave Big I? They have no interest in pandering to those people.

Even if Kamala wins the election and then proceeds to stab the Hamas sympathizers in the back by going all in on Israel, the kowtowing for their votes for an entire year has been bad for foreign policy all the while. And shutting down those college protests was not to punish or oust the crazies, but rather just for the purpose of hiding them from moderates and undecided voters. Did you know that all of those student protesters who barricaded themselves in the building at Columbia and were threatened with expulsion at the time actually got off pretty much scot-free?

The idiot doesn't even know what "mansplaining" is. Mansplaining would be me going up to a woman and saying "Well ma'am mansplaining is when a smart man like me talks in a condescending tone to a woman about a simple subject." What Vance was talking about is that claiming political asylum is as simple as using a phone app which I had no idea that we allowed things to become that trivial. It pisses me off because one of my best friends immigrated to America via political asylum (Ex-Soviet country and his family had reason to worry because Grandpa was a Commie higher up) and my friend's family had to hire a legit lawyer to get that asylum approved. That's how it should work!

If Harris actually gave a shit about Israel, she would have been there when their Prime Minister stepped off the plane. Wouldn't have told him to agree to a cease fire and seek a peace deal when she did bother to show up. To which Netanyahu laughed at her when she did that. Kamala is the type of person to get really bent out of shape when you tell her no. She was apathetic to Israel at best before that little incident, now she probably hates them.

And least we forget, it was the Biden-Harris administration that enabled Iran to fund October 7th and the past year of middle eastern nonsense.

That crackdown occurred because the US political system is captured by greatest ally. A bunch of AIPAC lobbyists and rich jewish donors started screaming at anyone who would listen that the money was going to go away if something wasn't done. Dems, republicans, independents, whoever. Everyone who was anyone in the political sphere started screaming about how bad antisemitism is. Kamala can't express her true views, yet. She needs all that donor money. Once the election is over, that might be a different story.
