What's the rarest game you own?

So, uh, does paint actually dry in that game or is it just a still picture?
It's just that picture.

All that happens is a text box comes up saying stuff like man look at that paint dry, and then it asks a couple questions about how your day is going and if you actually expected there to be a full game here, it ends by the paint being dry but the narrator going crap, I forgot to spackle first, then it kicks you back to the title screen.

My collection is big, but dosen't have alot of rare stuff sadly, but after looking for a bit i found some. I used pricecharting.com to determine to what my expensive games were and these are the results. i limited to stuff that go close to 40 bucks and anything beyond that i put away.
Error - i mistake on my part for misreading something for 20 bucks
Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn Wii - my second rarest game, the disc and the manaul are both in good shape. I bought this game new during a shopping spree at Nintendo World couple years back with a game guide.
Fire Emblem Path of Radiance Gamecube - a personal favorite game of mine that i got when it was new forever ago. the disc is decent shape and the manual is still there.
Haunting Ground PS2 - the rarest game in my own collection. it also seems to be a common find for fellow kiwis. The game disc is in alright shape with a few scratch, but its plays perfectly fine. i don't have the manual since i bought used at gamestop few years ago.
Banten Kaitos Origins Gamecube- Got this during one of many game hunting trips to gamestop when they still sold gamecubes in store. Both the discs are in good shape and it even still has the manual which is also in good shape. quite the steal for 7 bucks
Pokemon XD - this game is beyond baten kaitos is price, but its remains one of the stupidly priced games. its another game i've had forever now. both game disc and manual are in good shape.
Xenoblade Wii - another hard to get for no good reason and another favtiore of my, got this at gamestop the weekend it come out. I didn't play it for what seems liek years and i somehow remained unspoiled until around 2014 when i finally finished it.
Rhythm Theif & The Emperor's Treasure 3DS - another game i enjoyed the hell out of. a friend bought for me sometime after launch. yes i am aware of the mobile version and the 20 bucks on the eshop, but physicals copies are still going for 40 bucks for no good reason. its still in good shape
Pokemon HeartGold with PokeWalker DS - why the hell is this game so expensive and hard to find its fucking pokemon. i got lucky and got it at lauch. but whatever love the shit out of this one. in really good shape
SnowBoard Kids 2 N64 - out of my loose games its most hard to come. I borrowed it from a pal years ago and just forgot to give it back him. its in rough shape, but still plays just fine.
Megaman Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar GBA - a surprisingly pricey game for the good old gameboy advance. i will admit i breaking my rule with this one, but 22 bucks waaay to much for a GBA game in my mind and its least talked title out of all the battle networks since it was the last. got it as a Christmas gift years back and it still plays good.
SD Gundam Force - another loose game that 25 bucks this time. its based a gundam spin off i use to watch as a kid. i remind it being stupidly hard, but then again i was pretty retarded as a kid. I believe this was a birthday gift given to by a relative. it is in decent shape.

that's about it for me. getting games has been hard for me lately. but if i ever find a great score i let you guys known.

Is the physical version of Fable 3 for PC a rare game? I should have that shit somewhere around here, I don't even remember why I bought it.

Since my last post here, I've managed to get my hands on a few rare games.

FF9, FFO and Chrono Cross were both like 25 bucks, but they're black label so they're a lot harder to get than the Greatest Hits version. The Greatest Hits version of every FF and Chrono game on PS1 got reprinted, so it's pretty neat to own some versions that still say Squaresoft on them.

My brother took all my SNES and N64 titles with him since I had the Wii when he moved out.

Nowadays, I believe its Phantasy Star Online 3 for the GCN. A really obscure card version of PSO.

I own a few games on Steam that were removed off the storefront

1. Prey
2. Clive Barker's Jericho
3. Castle of Illusion
4. Duke Nukem 3D (Not Megaton. Which I also own. Interceptor entertainment had a version of Duke Nukem 3D that came with eduke32 you got if you bought the 3D realms pack on Steam. It was removed along with the Megaton edition when Gearbox got all of the rights to the franchise)

I have old copies of Fire Emblem Sacred Stones and Shadow Dragon laying around. They can go for some pretty high prices online.

I own every main series pokemon game in existence because I'm a fucking sped
That includes both Colosseum and XD, even that shitty little bonus disc they gave out when Colosseum launched.
I own the entire Smash series, including 4 copies of Melee for some reason
Some other semi-rare ones I can think of off the top of my head: Paper Mario 64, Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, Mario Party 3 (apparently this is somewhat hard to find), Pikmin 1&2

I really want to pick up Conker's BFD for a reasonable price but that's never going to happen. Chrono for the SNES would also be a dream but I need my hard earned cash for other stupid shit

Yo Mario Party 3 is rather hard to find? I didn't know that. I saw a copy at a local game/thrift store here just a couple weeks ago.

Me too, man. I also have an old copy of Path of Radiance. Perfect condition. Outside of FE I have Valkyrie Profile, Tales of Destiny, and Lunar: Silver Star Story. My older brother preserved a lot of these for me back when I was a kid and really it did me a huge favor.

Bonus mention, one of my favorite games ever: Dragon Force for the Sega Saturn. Seriously that shit is so good.

Not really sure if it counts (or even where I even got it in the first place), but I have an original Japanese version of Pokemon Yellow.
Then after that I just have The Sims (1) and Oblivion. I don't exactly think those are rare though and I'm too lazy to research. lol

Couple weeks ago, I found a copy of Maken X for the Sega Dreamcast. Don't know if that counts as a rare game. Never heard of it though but I recognized the art style coming from the same guy that did the art style for Digital Devil Saga and Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne.

I've got the three level demo disk and the full release of Dark Forces from 1995. Old jewel case and instructions included. I think my dad has it, though. I usually offload my more valuable stuff since he takes better care of it than I do.

Boxed Ultima Underworld/Wing Commander 2 set, with all the feelies.
Also own Pokémon Red and a fully-boxed Baldur's Gate, but that's not quite so rare, just old.

How rare is Dark Cloud 2? It's the old, obscure game I have in reach right now.

Complete in box, Dark Cloud 2 consistently gets bids in the $25-30 range on eBay. So, I wouldn't say "rare" but "uncommon".

Dark Cloud 2 was one of my higher-value thrift store finds ever.
