And then when I'm in a place where I can work on my car I will replace the alternator and also have an off-grid 12 volt generator system.

This little 4-cylinder American car of mine is a real bitch to change the alternator because they're so little room to get it out it's hard to get a wrench in there to get it loosened up also.

My air conditioner has been out for the longest time so I'm going to take a disc grinder and just basically cut out some air conditioning lines and I think that will give me enough room to get my alternator out and replaced.

The alternator that is designed for my car is between $200 and $300, but if I can get the alternator that's designed for a 1975 Chevy Nova to bolt in there and the belt can hook on it even though I might need a different length belt it has a two wire connection and I will just completely bypass my car's computer and voltage regulation nonsense and I will just go straight to the battery and that alternators only $61 plus a $25 core charge.

If you watch the video that I'm posting here you will see something that I've already done in real life and that is to take a small engine a gas engine and yes I've used the three horsepower engine to do this before.. you hook up the gas engine to a 12 volt alternator and it spins the alternator and you make power just like under the hood of your car.

You can put a rig together like this to generate 12 volts electricity when you're out camping or off grid for some other reason and you will find that you can charge your batteries for a 24-hour period for $3 or less per day.

I'm going to Jimmy rig this thing together with my limited tools and it will provide me with a system where I can charge my car battery and drive until I'm able to replace my alternator which is very difficult to do.

I just hope the fumes don't kill me while I'm driving, lol.
