So I can only deduce that Chrissy and Barb are gravely misinformed as to what that thing actually is.

If Chris wrote the description, that's probably right. If it was Barb, it's more likely she's trying to make the item sound more worthy of her ridiculous asking price.

This doesn't seem like that unreasonable of a price. Even the ebay listing someone linked was more than what Barb is asking for, and they seemed to be in a similar condition. That said I'm sure if it were up to Chris he'd want at least what he paid for it.
