Anyone voting for Trump at this juncture is motivated. They will stop at nothing to ensure their vote is cast. They’re motivated to the point of crawling naked over fields of broken glass, razor blades, barbed wire, and AIDS needles to get to that goddamned ballot box. With that level of motivation, you’re going to need a lot more than storm devastation to get them marginally less interested in voting this year. In fact, your smug, gloating comments just might motivate them even more to (secondarily…Trump #1) vote out of spite. Not only that, the willfully-malicious mismanagement of the disaster response happening under the current administration might just create more Trump voters. Question: is he applauding the idea that these people will be too distracted by the devastation in their personal lives to vote? Or that a degradation in infrastructure could lead to inconvenient demographics being electorally disenfranchised?
