Hurricane Milton

I said "move" not "fly". Straight line winds that were initially projected at 150mph+ absolutely have the potential to roll the vehicle over. More risk if the driver is actively driving at higher speeds. Wherever these fags are the street lights are still on even.
So you're saying you're a coward?

Of course they will. They oppose literally anything of benefit to the homeowners (and try to bill us for trying).
Man if you’re bitching about FL HOAs you need to do a tiny bit of research. Look up the max fine per day and max total fine. If you get on an HOA board you’re required to take a class and this is one of the things they teach.

Back on topic: southeast FL had a rougher ride than expected but now it’s going to be just normal tropical storm winds here. I know people in Tampa that had 8’ of surge for Helene and cannot imagine what those people are feeling now. Good for them it’s the northern portion hitting Tampa but holy shit.

Holy shit!
Will that work the same as when you see that happening during a tsunami? Meaning, when the water comes back, it will flood everything in sight?

Scary. But not the same kind of danger as when you see this from an impending Tsunami. The water has been sucked out by the winds around the eye far to the south. Of course, it will come back. But it's unlikely to come back as a wall of water 10' high.

What relationship if any exists between solar flares and hurricanes? We just got walloped with a big x class just now.
That'd the thing; the video I posted earlier in the thread is called "For the weather nerds" or something like that. Milton was supposed to be a nothing burger and then got out of nowhere got big... right around a previous solar storm hit us. This most recent video I posted is a warning that we're going to be hit by that X class and another one... while the hurricane is still over land. That's what I've been able to pick up anyway, I'm a science nerd, not a Science Nerd, sorry! (The guy posting the videos is a Geophysicyst though!)
