Like a lot of people with family members who were addicted to booze or even just cigarettes he got himself addicted to junk food. No one gets to be his size eating vegetables, meat, and dairy. Even fatty meats like beef are themselves not bad for you. It's when you add the breadings and the oils and the cream sauces and the fried sides, or the burger buns and fries/onion rings, on a daily basis that trouble is more likely to arise. I'm not saying carbs are the devil, but sugars are known to be addictive due to the dopamine boost it gives you. Food scientists spend their time in their labs creating more and new ways to get people hooked on junk food. Obesity and food addiction is a lucrative business.

I'm not even touching the drugs, because I don't think you need to be addiction prone to become addicted to them. But the fact that he's roughly the size of a barn with an amphetamine habit says food is his real addiction.

You see this a lot in the bariatric surgery population. A lot of obese people are addicted to the food they eat, forcing them to not eat anymore often ends up with them turning to booze. Addiction is a complex disorder, if you treat one, a lot of times you find it replaced with some other one.

It's a universal truth that many (most?) people will readily believe anyone who tells them exactly what they want to hear. I hate to give Trump even a backhanded compliment, but he's good at marketing. He knows exactly how to appeal to people who are pissed off and desperate to find someone to blame all of their problems on.

I was just in California on a business trip and saw a giant sign in a farmer's field that said "Donald Trump, sent by God to fight evil and save America." So, that's where we're at as a nation. The fact that devoutly religious people can look at this guy and think he's godly in some way tells you that there is some major delusion going on.

You're partially right.

He's funny and charismatic in a slick asshole way. The Trumpisms are funny, and that's why he was the "meme candidate" back in 2016. America loves that shit.

However, there's a severe limit to his ability to corral the religious folks who manage to vibe with his narcissistic delivery, but it's somewhat overcome by the Dems' own incompetence until rather recently, when the bitter pill was swallowed:

• Hillary essentially called everyone not voting for her for any reason ever a dumb wigger from flyover country whose ancestors should've been carpetbagged so hard that their descendants wouldn't even be in America anymore.
• Senior Dems kept fucking up over and over, such as Eric Swalwell suggesting that insurrectionists could never win a civil war because the government has nukes (lol, maybe in Russia they would nuke their own people). The same Eric Swalwell fell for Chinese spy pussy. Needless to say, China is a regime that massacres their religious minorities such as Christians and Muslims daily.
• The average shitlib redditor screeched at Christians that our God is fake, and we should get bent over a 4x4 for even existing. They also told anyone who had any objections to tech companies doing whatever the fuck they want to eat shit, and "make their own platform."
• Feminists and friends told pro-life people that they're disgusting and should eat shit and die.
• Troons were part of the great discourse until like 5 minutes ago when they got ventilated for being AGP fucks who legitimately want to MMA women in the octagon and teach kids how to brew troonshine at home.
• Black Lives Matter rampaged unopposed, have always been sus, and are only catching shit for ties to tankie regimes such as Russia and Venezuela now.

You can see how these failings + the constant Trump propaganda could do a massive number on the average rural Christian's head. To sum it up, the American left acted way too damn close to Patrick S. Tomlimson for quite a while.

Not true. ~50% of US federal government spending goes to mandatory entitlement spending with programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Income Security Programs being the main drivers of debt.

$6.1 Trillion in total US government spending.
$3.8 Trillion on mandatory spending.
The DOD Budget is $849 billion.

The interest payment on the US debt is $892 Billion and is equal to the DOD budget because of entitlement spending.

The federal government's "tug boat" is increasing scope and spending. It's creating a debt bomb that nobody is interested in dealing with until its too late.
