The Votepig Proposal. What a sad, sad document. Someone put effort into it, quite a bit. But for what? Unfocused pretentious drivel that's what. Here's a quote from Nixon section:

From a socialist framework Nixon was deposed by the bourgeois and their puppet politicians, yet these imbeciles despise him utterly. Uneducated dogs all of them. They believe consuming memes, watching youtube videos, and reading obscure demographic reports make them intelligent. Some of them have excellent memories, granted, but this is only used to regurgitate feel good quotes and statistics. Simply put, the majority have the introspective capability of a suicide bomber.
I once read a comment on KF from someone else more intelligent then me. It was something to the effect of "modern socialists derive their ideology more from Undertale then Das Kapital". This is what TNO is now. Undertale for hearts of iron 4.

Nixon-seethe was just the boomer version of Trump Derangement Syndrome. It doesn't matter that he was by and large a social progressive who abolished the last vestiges of the gold standard and still expanded the purview of the federal government, him rolling back and stonewalling a few Great Society projects and not capitulating to communists in wars he inherited while having an R behind his name was enough that he still drives the left insane to this day.
A while back it was brought up on Nixon stuff. Nixon was one of the kinder presidents and dare I say it could have been one of the best. He actually negotiated a cease-fire with the North and would have gone down as one of the greatest presidents and a savior of Vietnamese democracy if Democrats did not fuck him over and in the chaos the North saw that America would not honor its commitment to the South and would just invade it again despite the international promises being made.
He also despite their portrayals in TNO as him being a sneedy asshole, was very much a kind man. Again mentioned on this thread his memories of JFK and how he talked about him are very sweet. Admiring Kennedy and wishing he got to live longer to carry out his policies. Nixon having seen the best in everyone.
And as Computer God pointed out, for a Republican he was incredibly progressive for the time. He's not some looney that the Vooooote Swine portrays. That said I still would like a 4 term Nixon. Not cause of their autism but since he is actually one of my favorite presidential figures and sorta like Tabby, Nixon could be a democratic and "wholesome 100" of a TNO funny guy. A darkhorse president who holds onto several terms that he makes an imperial presidency but its for the better as she keeps slapping the dirty little Jap and the Nazis.
Though if I had to guess they would write Nixon as Emperor Palpatine (whom Lucas claims he based Palpatine off Nixon). Probably with some unwholesome chungus things here and there on how Nixon hates unions or something and how its bad the OFN is winning.

He was. I spoke about it before on this thread, but FDR really does not get enough hate. The fact he is considered one of the great US presidents is a fucking disgrace.
FDR was sorta like a early Mussolini in his socialist leanings. His big government view is very much a social democrat type of bullshit and if you pay attention you can see where he uses the sort of overly polite nudges and appeals to "just be a good fucking person" to push his bullshit. Not only that even if he wasn't he was happy to carry water for commies with his absolute shit judgement of character and the people he hired.
Harry Hopkins, Lauchlin Currie, Harry Dexter White and Alger Hiss. All top men for FDR. All NKVD assets and/or compromised.
The communist will tell you about McCarthy and bitch and moan about the man and his "witch hunts" but they will NEVER mention the Verona project and how their anti-espionage efforts exposed so many moles and infiltrated agents in the US and UK governments.
It's a shame polio didn't kill the faggot.

I made fun of it in TNO and it also applies here but what's with reddit jannies especially HOI4 ones locking EVERY discussion? Yu can't even escape political autism since the very game is grounded in it. Even if the guy is a cringe leftie I do actually enjoy these as you can sorta test and see in what political direction most of the players of the mod lean towards.

Wouldn't objectively the "best" side be the Pacific States since they're all liberals and some of the less radical progressives? I know this is preaching to the choir with how openly lefty the KR community is now but I really fail to see how the faction that would probably enact a Holodomor on the South is the best faction(I completely forgot what content the Feds have in base KR I only remember KX).

American leftists have a huge reconstruction fetish. They are convinced they could fix everything if they just kill enough chuds. This is all commies to be fair, but in the american context it tends to show up in a hatred of rednecks and southern former confederate states.

Just wanted to comment lol at the TNO slog not budging an inch, FOUR FUCKING YEARS LATER. Most of my old predictions have come true
All you had to do was write a Grimdark Germany wins WW2 scenario with interesting characters (that includes the nations and wars, they are characters in of themselves in this medium). Instead you turned the entire project into the worst-case scenario every American thinks of when they hear "bureaucratic communism". With a healthy heaping of tranny rot, realism sperging from the worst autists imaginable, and constant pseudo-religious moralizing about fascism/racism/Issue-of-the-moment
Panzer was arrogant, a bit of an ass who couldn't handle other people well and made himself look bad by extension. But knowing the kind of people he had to deal with while working on a passion project and where that has gone, hindsight is a huge 20-20 as others have mentioned. I can safely say he was better now, he always had vision and direction
Now we come to Godherja, which has typical Paradox mod development problems, but it has good dark fantasy character, interesting lore, and minimal autistic politisperging. I'd say he won out this one

Nixon was the last decent President this country had. I'd say Reagan was the last but he either willingly let glowniggers co-opt his administration completely or was in on it from the start. It's so depressing every single HOI4 mod depicts him as le funny crook and not the extremely nuanced man he was.
They don't legalize gay tranny buttsex and force evil racist Southern chuds to watch as their Confederate monuments get blown up and black men marry their white female lovers.
