Now I'm being reminded of that big scream/sperg-out that happened at GDC this year. Is is any wonder why these people are losing jobs en masse?

Ah yes, the fans that witnessed HBO max fucking remove every animated show from their library but velma and some select others as a tax write off and then proceeded to claim Velma was their most successful animated show ever in terms of view numbers as if they hadn't just axed the rest of their library? THOSE FANS?

I'm pretty sure Velma wouldn't be as fucking despised as it is if it weren't for that whole situation surrounding it, but it's still shit!

I've said about shows like the boys that mediocre writers need to take pre existing IPs to get attention to their garbage shows they make with their buddies, that if it was a completely original concept it wouldn't make it past a single season, if that. But because its something that people wanted to see adapted they put up with shit writing to see their favorite characters move on tv. Mindy should've picked something other than Scooby Doo if she wanted to keep it going.

Indeed, thanks to hacks like Eric KripKIKE and Shite ((((((Rogen)))))) as writers, it's a full on jew revenge fantasy against right wingers, by using Marvin/Mother's Milk and "Trumplander".

This rabbit hole goes far deeper than just troons or bronies. The people who work in the industry see themselves as being on a higher class than the people who don't. And as a result, they use that to stroke their ego. It's not unlike what happened recently with Elon making the Blue Checkmark a subscription service for anyone after Journos used it as a grandstanding tool (with some even pasting it on their houses).

Remember, these Industry dudes talk. They see themselves as part of some elite club, and when that club is being dismantled or kicked out of the industry en masse, of course there's gonna be a mass sperg-out. Even when indie shows like TADC, Murder Drones, PPF, and so on are doing very well for themselves.

Even though I've had preciously zero interest in the Velma show, I did become a little intrigued when I heard Scrappy Doo apparently mcfucking killed her and the rest of the cast at the last episode. Of course, I don't care enough to verify it myself, and honestly the whole thing just really reeks of last-minute shoehorned baiting with no though or interest behind it.
