Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

most are generally afraid to speak out or put their job on the line due to the threat of being "cancelled". Being seen as a Bigot, or a Racist, or a Homophobe as a "bad thing" is still very prevalent amongst corpos and their dick sucking simps
If your ship is flooding with water and you refuse to get off it because you would be seen as a racist.
You deserve to die with it.
Insanity, absolute insanity the cowardice of these people.

Look what I found.

I completely forgot Mortal Kombat was included.
"Mortal Kombat and Night Trap are not the kind of gifts responsible parents give to their kids" [sic]
I.....there are no words. But there's also that sense of juvenile humor in the air since we can gaze upon the likes of Dawn Weiner in the footage.

Even more "fun facts". Most of the individuals that went after the music industry (the PMRC) were largely Democrats. It was Tipper Gore and her gaggle of fuckwits that brought a lot of charges against heavy metal (and rock music in general). Dee Snider (who is the biggest fucking government simp now, ironically enough) was one of the few that pushed back.

Democrats are also largely responsible for getting rid of Saturday morning cartoons. Something, something, "mindless entertainment", no education. 'Cause God forbid kids have a few hours to veg out to mindless fun cartoons for a few hours on a weekend before they're sent outside to play.

Usually whenever there's a large "THINK OF THE CHILDREN" push that's meant to kill anything fun? It's highly likely that it's either a Leftist or a Democrat that's behind it.

Speaking of which, has anyone shared this yet?

While I liked Alien 3 I think it never should have happened. Aliens should have closed it out. Alien 3's ending is too much like Terminator 2's and went through way too many rewrites.
I'm a huge fan of Dark Horses old Aliens comics
While I agree T2 should have been the last Terminator movies, Aliens could have progressed and has. At Tate Mode said, people seem to like the Dark Horse comics, and the games have a pretty good track record for a while. The only direction that might have made sense for Terminator sequels would be to do a future war movie or games, but even that's fairly limited.

The main problem with Aliens sequels isn't for the lack of stories, but poor execution. I don't know what happens in the comics, but a friend who enjoyed them told me the xenomorphs get to Earth and everything gets fucked up as a consequence. That sounds amazing, while the films we got were cringe nonsense retreading old ground.

I want this to happen and I think it needs to happen but I’ll believe it has when a big publisher collapses. I’m looking you you, Ubisoft.
Used to be that every big hardware transition would claim a scalp or two. The PS2 generation killed Acclaim and 3DO. PS3 killed THQ and a huge swath of the dev community. Honestly we're overdue.

I want a proper collapse, as in the staff turn up for work and all the doors are padlocked and there’s a note from the court stuck to the front door. None of this buy out buy shit, Total Publisher Death.

Chances are you will not get that, as fun and cathartic as it would be. We might get a large scale "Embracer Style" collapse though. You know, a lot of publishers and studios going bankrupt and being sold for parts to the bigger publishers and companies. Hopefully that will put the fear of God in those companies and remind them that the customer is king.

The only way you are getting a crash like that is with a massive economic collapse
There are more than enough tasteless zombie buyers who only consume mainstream slop to keep these companies afloat and limp on indefinitely

5, actually? The hearing was in '94, her OD was in '99.
I think I must have been confusing it with the PMRC hearings about rock music in 1985. Still, she was alive at the time, although probably pretty fucked up on drugs and alcohol.

That's how Sierra Publishing went out, but hey maybe we'll get that on top of a buyout, but the buyout was of the staff which are now property of a coal mining company that's sending them into the shafts.

Sierra kind of lived on long enough to become part of Activision in the Vivendi merger. But it depends on at what point you're willing to still call something Sierra when it's really not Sierra anymore.

The last time you had a big pub fully closed down and stripped for parts was THQ. And even in that case, the original plan was to take it private out of Chapter 11 (basically what happened with Midway and Warner Bros). The company only died because they got a bad bounce from the bankruptcy court. I think Acclaim was the last proper Chapter 7 fire sale.

I'm trying to imagine unwinding something as gigantic as Ubisoft and it's just not coming to me. Although there's a limited number of outfits with enough money to buy the whole thing, and if none of them want to, who knows?

Is this a "We have to throw someone under the bus fast" moment? I mean they did get rid of the most controversial guy who badmouthed Toriyama after he died. Nobody bounces back from that. I understand distancing themselves from it. But it doesn't give Sweet Baby any gold stars.

I think the money spigot got turned off.

I'm sure he's gone like a seasonal cold is gone.
This is all optics these people work closely together. Keep your eyes on his linked in and watch where he lands in the next few days. I doubt he'll be unemployed for more than a month.

To be clear I don't think the people are gone, I think Kim is cutting staff so she can coast while she pulls together a 'new' company. The SBI name is absolute sales poison and even the dumbest, most out of touch, libshit, boomer executives have to understand that at this point.
