Bobby The Broom has never told Nick "no" in his entire life. That's why he's like this in the first place.
I just don’t see the Rekietas deciding to start parenting their faggot son more than 40 years into his life. If they’re in such denial that Bob was claiming under oath that he’s never seen Nick drunk, they’re not now suddenly swooping in to set him straight.
I certainly agree it's probably true that they did a shit job parenting him at a young age.
However, for the reason BG and I have laid out, I think they have
finally stepped in to tard wrangle him given the obvious seriousness of the situation. They did it
right after denied, denied, denied.
They understand now that, contrary to Barnes' claims, his behavior on livestreams
can be used against him in court. Something they maybe didn't grasp before, given their age (old people and tech), and the fact they probably had just believed whatever crap Nick fed them.
The way Nick is acting now is totally unlike how Nick normally acts when he's in trouble.
The alternate theory is the synapses finally started firing, and he suddenly realizes he needs to shut the fuck up...
...and that's just ridiculous. We're talking about Nicholas Robert Rekieta here.
Plus, he hasn't shut the fuck up fully. He's still tweeting and pay-pigging Melton. I think the deal is that he's not allowed to stream in order to avoid a complete catastrophe on the level of the cokestream. The stream that is now accepted into evidence as to his coke usage.
Nick's parents are unique in that they
do have some leverage over him. It's called Petrofac money. Something he's depended on all his life (i.e. Bob paying his property taxes), and will be increasing depending on now that his streaming career is borked.
If people here are having difficulty with the idea of them actually "parenting," you can think of it more as then protecting his dumb ass. From himself. Rich parents do that all the time for their spoiled brat children.
He's being wrangled by Bob and Celeste. It's that simple.
Yep.
Don't feel too bad though. Half the thread didn't believe the corner demon at first. Remember some people thought your initial analysis was crazy, and he was just hallucinating? Even though you could actually hear noise being made by the other occupant in the room.
There's a good chance you'll be vindicated on this as well.
