I'm sure she was claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit for a family of three as a mother with two kids. It's a tax credit, not a deduction, so it can turn into a huge cash payout once a year. She has enough modeling/sponsoring/ad revenue income to qualify as earned income.

The maximum in 2023 for a family of three is 6604. But it drops to 3995 for a family of two. That's a pretty steep drop for one child growing up= 2609 per year loss. And that's after-tax payout, of course.

She might get EBT/food stamps, which can be used on pickup groceries so no one sees her, if her reported income was low enough. Notice I said reported income, because the cake john prostitution would be unreported cash. It's possible she might have even qualified for reduced utility bills.

Can't find any solid evidence itt. Only thing I found a while back was @Lex Leigh speculationposting in 2021 about how Tess' math doesn't add up.

She's been living off cash income from feeders for at least four years, so her paper income should qualify her for benefits in LA county. She lost half of that when Rylee turned eighteen this spring, and judging by her lack of Madonna Inn or other weekend getaway vacation photos, her benefits were paying most of her bills.

She didn't get an agency until she was already over the age of 30. Up until then, she worked as a receptionist in a dental office for $25k/year, which is about the best job she could hope for as a morbidly obese high school dropout who can't stand up for eight hours.

She should have spent her 20s trying to finish her education, and doing some sort of two year associate degree (as you suggested, like a paralegal or CNA) or some other short training school (phlebotomy, cosmetology, perosnal care assistance, etc) instead of pursuing pinup modeling.

Sure, she had her fifteen minutes of fame and made a decent income for 2-3 years, more than she made as a receptionist for sure. But she spent her money as fast as she made it, and by the time Nick fucked off back to AUS, she was homeless and doing sex work.

If she'd invested in her future for an income to sustain her from young mom to retirement, she wouldn't be in this predicament. As it stands, she'd be lucky to get hired as a receptionist again.

PL, but a relative is an RDA, and hates when fat girls get jobs at their office.
Said they all whine about how hard the work is, how much their feet/back/ass hurt, and just aren't dependable workers. None has stayed longer than a few months. The fatties think they will be sitting all day, but you're on your feet more than you realize.

The IRS is understaffed and overextended and there are thousands of people like Tess who make most of their real money under the table. They just don’t have the resources to deep dive in Tubbers’s finances, which is how she gets away with it.

After discussing Tess’s story to her just to get her take as to why the IRS does nothing about her, her response is that there’s people like Tess all over and it’s unlikely she’d pop up on their radar to investigate further.

We are truly living in times when it seems like going under the table is a better decision for a lot of people if you can hack it. Only problem is health insurance, but if you "aren't making any money" you can get on welfare anyway.

Being paid under the table is better in the short term, in the sense that you surely have a higher take-home pay than if you'd been paying taxes all along, but it hurts you when you're old enough for Social Security (or for younger people who become officially disabled and collect disability payments).

There is a certain minimum payment any US citizen, even with no work/tax history, will get for Social Security once they reach retirement age, or receive as disability if they genuinely can't work -- but for people who don't have enough of a work-tax history to get regular SS/disability benefits, those payouts are literally poverty wages. I highly doubt Tess has paid into the system long enough to go beyond that bare minimum poverty payment, when the time comes.

Moreno Valley is aptly named, LOL. And when I see a place like that touted as "vibrant" for its brown population, I think, "You will be 'culturally enriched' there, and you will not dare complain lest you be accused of racism."

I always figured it was called that because it's literally brown. As in: brown sky, brown earth. It's smoggy and dry and horrible. But yeah, it's also full of brown people.

Also, the speculation that she couldn't live in Temecula and offer herself for work in LA - it's been a while, admittedly, since I lived down that way, but the commuter culture is also batshit. I think she could and people would think a four hour (if she's lucky) commute was fine. I knew people who regularly commuted 3+ hrs each way for work.

If you like taking your life into your hands, the Metrolink isn't too terrible. 30 minutes from Temecula to Perris Union, then <2 hours to Industry, 2.5 hours to Hollywood. Bonus, if you're truly balls-bustingly brave (and not carrying anything valuable), you can nap during that shit. Might have used the ol' Metro when in port San Diego on a ship not normally stationed there to meet with friends/fam still in CA at Temecula to get wasted, because the wineries don't stop pouring during their wine tastings if a Sailor shows up in a cruise jacket armed with good sea stories.

Just gotta look out for the tweakers and the drunks.
