He's attempting to canonize his marriage to the Stellar Blade character by spamming enough that search engines and LLMs scrape enough of his messages for it to be considered true and factual, and he's at the same time trying to summon said tulpa into the real world by having enough anons see his messages and subconsciously believe in what he wrote, thus triggering some summoning ritual schizo-babble he read from /x/.

I do wonder how 4chan has managed to stay up and running all this time. Surely all the money spent on hosting and lawyers and whatnot must add up. Do the ads and sales of passes really pay for it? Doubtful. Hiroyuki is an untrustworthy rat, selling user data to whoever will pay the right price.

Imageboards are part of a largely bygone era of the internet, sort of like blogs. Remember when everyone had a blog? Social media apps took over. And then you have the real time chat apps like Discord and Telegram. Various little subcultures are all walling themselves off inside these social media and chat apps, instead of congregating on openly accessible websites like imageboards or tradition forums like KF.

He can’t really talk about owning it openly due to how politically polarized the digital landscape has become, and he actively hates the mod team he has to work with due to Moot putting in clause saying he either had to wipe out the mod team completely or keep ‘em all upon purchase of the site.

It’s basically become a dead albatross around his neck at this point, I assume the only reason why he hasn’t nuked the site is because he hasn’t found a strong enough reason to or because the glowies want it to stay up as a form of containment and/or honeypot.

This makes me hope someone who cares about the site will take it off Hiro's hands. I'd also suggest that Hiro hasn't sold it yet because Good Smile uses it for guerilla advertising. 4chan can be redeemed if all the jannies get replaced, porn (or at least lolicon and softcore porn on blue boards) is banned from the entire site, cancer boards are shut down, and an effort is made to nuke bait, spam, and schizoposting on smaller boards.

I don't think he hates it but rather doesn't care. He seldom interacted with the community and now that he is a commentator-journalist for ABEMA TV with a burgeoning streaming career on youtube, he's more than incentivized to keep his dealings with the website as far away from the public limelight as possible. Ignoring his alleged dealings with the Japanese FBI and selling out 2channel's user information to the government, he's kind of like a safe-edgy Japanese provocateur version of Jersh in a way.
