This spooked me enough to even post about it on here, but I’m at work at the moment and I saw at least 10 Mexicans, probably more, just walking around the store. I mean so many that I saw more Mexicans than Americans, and heard much more Spanish being spoken than English. I mean really, you can’t even have the decency to speak English in my fucking country? That’s unless they can’t, which means they’re illegals, which was pretty obvious. I hope anyone who called for these fuckers to be let in gets hung for treason.

Never forget that for an entire month after Biden was replaced with Kamala 100% of the media was in the tank for her telling you how excited the country was to vote for her, how she was immediately ahead 10 pts in the polls and all the billions of dollars rolling into her campaign.
I am fairly certain most people didn't even know she existed before that moment.

Good morning, USPG! I'm excited for today's shenanigans. Please remember to keep all your limbs inside the thread while it is in motion, to mock all doomposters, to politely dismantle visitors from the Donald Trump lolcow thread, and always remember: unlike Kamala Harris supporters, we are actually having fun.

In very interesting news (which everyone here already predicted would happen): the top "national security" story on The Hill (their front page): Trump’s GOP moves to dramatically revamp election rules (archive).
"Republican allies of former President Trump have embarked on a sweeping effort to restrict voting and purge voter rolls across the country since the 2020 election, something critics fear could stymie participation in the November contest and aid Trump in challenging its outcome if he loses."
It sounds like Trump and his campaign are serious about poll watchers and making sure that state election laws are actually followed this cycle. Democrats are getting ready to (D)o their form of election denial which, as we all know, is (D)ifferent when they (D)o it. When they "revamp election rules," it's to "save democracy." When Trump does it, it's fucking Dark Hyrule.

The off-lead for The Hill is also interesting: Senate majority at risk of falling out of reach for Democrats (archive). The headline speaks for itself. Basically, polls indicate that the GOP might get a 1 or 2 seat lead in the Senate.

Kamabla is promising $20k of gibs for black entrepreneurs

People are upset about the 20k bit but the cryptocurrency bit is far more retarded. The government is going to pay the difference for black men who invest in Bitcoin at 70k then it drops to 30k? How?

Overall racial discrimination aside, I also noticed this absurd bit about "protecting cryptocurrency investments" (whatever the hell that actually means) so that "money is safe" in the most infamously volatile market you could put your money in. Whether Kamala means to refund crypto capital loss exclusively for black men is unclear, but I also never figured that anyone even cares about investing crypto at all besides white and Asian men.

There's also some humorous stereotyping going on to focus on weed as the prime industry to grow for the ostensive purpose of employing black men.

And that was how Kamala liked it as she was Hope and Change v2. Until Joe kept talking about how important she was in his administration and how all of his "achievements" were hers too, and all the natural disasters suddenly reminded people that Kamala was in fact in charge and a complete fuck-up.
As if it wasn't already obvious, the Nazi boat was not welcome at the Trump boat parade this weekend.

Those were the limpest "Hail Trump" I have ever heard. Even the glowies are phoning it in for Kamala.

Speaking of programs that are a shadow of what they once where: SNL is currently having it's landmark 50th season. But does anyone actually give a shit about it? I wonder if more people watched the Saturday Night (2024) film on its opening weekend than they did the real SNL. Statistically speaking, probably not overall, but for sure they did in individual areas.

I recommend Saturday Night (2024) by the way. My only complaint is there wasn't enough Jim Henson.
i've been getting a bunch of SNL shit algorithmically delivered to me and it's really shocking how low quality and unfunny it is, even the stuff that people talk about as being the best. the chris farley and norm mcdonald skits i remember being funny were generally funny but like... at the expense of the show? when the best parts of your show are the parts that make fun of the writers, im not sure the show is even good.

the last time i paid attention to SNL was when the lonely island was on when i was a teenager and it's legitimately shocking how little cultural cache they ever had. the lonely island and SNL are obsessed with self-mythologizing and while all of that constant knob slobbering about how amazing and funny they are might convince stupid people that they're amazing and funny, the real test of it is how people remember you unprompted and i guarantee nobody is thinking about andy samberg unless its about how much he sucks

where did PA flip to in 2020?

cope
Nigga compare 2020 polling, where Biden was ahead by 6 points at this point, to current polling, which has Trump up by 0.3 in the aggregate. And all but two polls released this month have had them either tied or Trump up. Again, compare to 2020 where every poll except the Republican ones like Trafalgar had Biden up.

Now PA is absolutely a battleground state, since it’s well within MOE. But the notion that it’s not very possible it goes red this year, even probable just flies in the face of the current data. It’s actual cope, just sticking hands in your ears ignoring the data coming in.

That was also with a bazillion unconstitutional mail-in ballots going out as well. If you were to throw those out like they should have been (or rather, they never should have been mailed out) Trump would have had PA easily

Need I remind the class that Trump was up by over 700k votes in Pennsylvania on the night of the election? Only to lose Pennsylvania a week later?

It can and will absolutely happen again. There were no consequences for it the first time.

In any other state in the union being up by that many votes they would have called the election in the state.

I think the difference now is that they specifically trained over 200k pollwatchers over the course of the year and have been actively throwing lawsuits left and right, have managed to throw off a lot of illegal voting. It's something they don't talk about much but something that I'm glad they are doing.

I doubt they spent all that time, money and energy for the campaign without bothering to fix the thing that got them to lose in the first place. While the "too big to rig" strategy is what Trump mainly stands for, they are doing a lot of things in the background to ensure that's not the only card they have.
