A few little tidbits about RS:
*Wally was supposed to actually get strong enough to become a gym leader. Before double battles were implemented, he was the boss of Mossdeep, Tate and Liz were completely absent. Seems there is a ton of unused content for Wally, making some of the things he says make more sense now, and it seems contrary to popular belief that double battles might have been a rather late addition to the game.
*Maxie was originally going to work for Devon(makes sense, considering he is a businessman of some sort in the final game) and be the true bad guy, while Archie was a good guy. I guess once the story got more fleshed out, Gamefreak wanted the two versions to have a separate story and evil team so they made both characters equally evil.

/vp/'s autism is being used for a good case in a thread where people are trying to find canon heights using the leaks as a reference.

I guess the reason why May is smaller is because Serena/Hilda are canonically older.

Agreed. I’m seeing so many people being upset when it’s clear they never really cared for or played Pokemon that if something that was never meant to see the light of day can filter them the fuck out I am all for it.

My favourite mon is Hatenna and it’s evo line and that because it wants to murder you at all time.

Heck, the majority of Pokmon in game stories and absolutely messed up.

Gen 7’s plot is a complete mesed up clusterfuck all because of a cute jellyfish.

Practically all the gsmes plots are.

I'm more curious on whether we'll get development assets for third party titles like Colosseum + XD, Stadium, the Mystery Dungeon series, Pokesnap, Battle Revolution, any early art for the Trading Cards; Game Freak has so much more shit they are hiding besides the mainline games and it begs the question of whether they'll eventually come to fruition too?

As you said, they're third parties. Game Freak are hiding nothing from the spinoffs because they're not responsible for developing them. If you want Mystery Dungeon leaks (I know I do) you'll have to wait for a Spike Chunsoft employee to get careless.

I've been playing PLA and digging through mountains of Standard-format trading cards while the leak's been doled out and studied.

If there's one thing I hope the leak gives us is SV's base code, I really want to see what made them such a steaming pile of shit performance-wise compared to Game Freak's other Switch titles.

The thing about a lot of these beta designs is that occasionally takes generations for a Pokémon to go from concept to reality and sometimes parts of them can be carved up and blended with other beta Pokémon to create new ones that have a better chance of getting in. I can see some parts of beta Pelipper in Cramorant and parts of beta Sableye in its Mega Evolved form.

That’s because the leaker hasn’t released ‘em yet (they did bring up some Z-A related stuff and tibits relating to Gen 10 but I’ve learned to take leaks from games that have yet to be released with a grain of salt), the also didn’t have stuff for SM/USUM either.

TBF the second novel ends in the original plan they had for the anime, where it would end after season 1 and the Pokemon would rise up against their captors.

Strangely, it was Electric Soldier Porygon mixed with Pokemon hitting the US and Europe that nixed that, and they came back with a global phenomenon. So that book isn't exactly the end all and be all. It was only meant to be anime lore.
